EmDash supports themes & plugins. But if most of its users are developers, who becomes the customer? I’ve been thinking about whether a CMS needs non-technical users before a commercial ecosystem can really develop.

If you’re using @Cloudflare Wrangler or @EmDashCMS for local development, WorkerDock might make your life easier. workerdock.app
I've made a Free Mac app for juggling local Cloudflare Workers projects. Start, stop, logs, bindings, menu bar. workerdock.app

I highly recommend @helpscout to invite some real customers to their tests before releasing UI changes. 👹 Who had the idea that this big fat cards incl. images would look nice and NOT waste so much space in the sidebar? 🤯 Also forcing us to click a tiny text link to change the ticket status. Come on...

Last year I launched svgready.com as a small free tool. It didn’t get much traffic. A couple of months ago I added multiple languages and a few more tools, including QR and barcode generators. Since then, it has slowly started getting more visitors from search and ChatGPT. German and Japanese seem to be doing particularly well. Maybe there’s something in building for more than just English, although it’s probably still too early to draw any conclusions. Analytics: dash.webtions.com/share/90bc…

Is it the right time to block ".lol" domains from showing up in our timelines already? 🤣

I really like @automatorplugin but why do you guys keep adding tools and enabling them by default without asking us customers/users if we want them? First the "Agent" which shows up as a floating thing, now has a new menu item. Get it from a business perspective, but from a user perspective it's just annoying 🫡

What's your favorite open-source / self-hosted email campaign tool? Thinking about having lists/tags, single campaigns, sequences, and, in the best case some automations or even a little CRM? MCP would be wonderful on top 😇

This is amazing Good guy Google
Google started showing how often they receive defamation claims from restaurants now. People in Germany now look at that instead of the stars to decide where to eat. Streisand effect in full gear

Added a free SVG QR code generator to SVG Ready. Runs entirely in your browser, supports custom colours, logos and multiple styles, and nothing gets uploaded. svgready.com/qr-code/

Truly agree! 💯
It’s mid-2026 and I still see people saying they don’t trust anything “vibe coded”. To me, that feels a bit like saying you don’t trust a designer who uses Illustrator instead of drawing a logo by hand. Tools are used for a purpose. What matters is who is using them, the decisions they make, and whether they understand what they are building. Yes, a lot of AI-built websites look the same right now. Dark backgrounds, gradients, glowing effects, tiny text. But plenty of websites built from scratch by people also look the same. We were copying trends and templates long before AI came along. I come from an architecture background. I’d consider myself an okay designer and a bad programmer, but I still enjoy coding. I started building websites when I was 17, so I’ve been doing this for more than 25 years. For me, AI is not just about generating code. It helps me research, debate decisions, challenge ideas, get feedback, improve things, and above all, save time. The biggest change is that instead of dreaming about a project for months, I can now build something quickly, iterate, put it in front of people, and see if it works before investing too much time into it. Like any other tool, AI can produce bad work when used badly. But dismissing it completely seems pointless. Unless you have a lot of free time and loads of money to keep doing everything the old-fashioned way, learning how to use these tools well seems far more useful than complaining about them.

Just finished 1 project and for my next, I’m using Claude Fable to build the most advanced, paradigm-shifting frontier AI model the world never wanted. 🤫

trigv.com is finally live. The iOS app is out, the website is up, and there is 1 day left in the @shipordie_ challenge. The easy part is done. The hard part starts now: improving the product, fixing rough edges, and making onboarding much better. Back to building :)

This tool is really useful: redsift.com/tools/investigat… Before launching Trigv.com, I’ve been testing normal emails, transactional emails, and marketing emails to make sure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and delivery are working properly. Boring work, but better than finding out after launch that emails are broken.

Long post alert 😅 This week started really well. Trigv got approved on the App Store, I finished the Play Store submission, and somehow came 3rd on TinyLaunch tinylaunch.com/launch/16536 Thank you to everyone who voted and supported it. I didn’t build it because I had some grand SaaS roadmap. It’d be nice if it makes money, of course, but mostly I wanted to build something useful, learn, and stop wasting time overthinking everything. The tools we have now are too good. At some point, “I need more time” becomes a bad excuse. I quit client work in 2015. It paid well, and I worked with some good clients and companies, but the stress was slowly running me into the ground. Working with @dannyvankooten, then @flowdee, and briefly with @barry_kooij helped me break away from that grind. It gave me a calmer life, more freedom, and eventually brought me to Vietnam in 2017. I'm still here in Da Nang, and still happy with that choice. Coming back to X after almost 7 years away has been surprisingly nice too. A lot has changed, but the best part still feels the same: people building things, sharing progress, getting stuck, launching, failing, and trying again. This was a good reminder that finishing something, even a small thing, feels much better than endlessly polishing it. Now, back to building as there are 4 days left for the @shipordie_ challenge 😅

Hey App developers, Anyone using mobsf.github.io/docs/ to scan their apps for security? And is this the best option?

Worth following! Sounds interesting 😇
My new project: trigv.com Trigv sends push alerts to your phone for app errors, failed cron jobs, payments, signups, completed automations, and other events you don’t want to miss. Feels fun and challenging to build something outside WordPress for a change. #buildinpublic #SaaS
