Lads is fun and a great outlet for artistic inspiration and storytelling but it is not a substitute for love.
These are fictional characters at the end of the day. They do not love you. They are products.
You can appreciate the characters, the artistic development team, the voice actors and the gameplay without blurring the lines between the two.
The parasocialism in this fandom is what got us into this state in the first place and I don’t think encouraging it at this point in time is a good idea. Not when people with a superiority complex over their “love interests” are doxxing others and even going as far as encouraging suicide.
