🚨Attention XRPL Community 🚨
Today a community member reached out about strange transactions in their @XamanWallet and asked if I had any. I looked in my wallet and I found two escrow transactions… one for creation & another to cancel.
Utilizing the support xAPP within the same XAMAN wallet I sent a screenshot and asked what it was.
Here is the reply:
“Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand that seeing unexpected transactions in your account can be concerning, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Here is what you need to know about the transactions you are seeing:
What are these transactions?
This is a known phishing tactic currently being used by scammers on the XRP Ledger. Scammers are sending out unsolicited "Escrow" transactions directed at various users' accounts. These escrows often appear to contain large amounts of tokens (like "USDT0" or other fake assets) to grab your attention. Their goal is to bait you into visiting a third-party website or following a link in the transaction memo to "claim" or "release" these locked funds.
Why you should not sign them:
These unsolicited escrows are a trap. If you visit the scammers' website, you will be prompted to connect your wallet and "sign" a transaction to receive the funds. Do not sign anything. The transaction they are asking you to sign is not a harmless release of funds. It is a malicious transaction designed to trick you into granting the scammers control over your account, which will allow them to steal your actual assets.
Your account is safe:
Please rest assured that your account and funds are completely safe. The mere presence of these escrow transactions in your account history cannot harm you. Scammers cannot access your funds simply by sending a transaction to your address. The only way they can steal your funds is if you explicitly authorize them by signing their malicious transaction. As long as you ignore the bait and do not sign anything, your account remains 100% secure.
Why can't these transactions be blocked?
Because the XRP Ledger is a public, decentralized network, anyone with an active wallet can initiate a transaction to any other address. Just like anyone can send a piece of physical junk mail to your home address, anyone can send a transaction to your XRP address. Because of the open nature of the blockchain, there is no way to selectively block incoming transactions or hide them from the public ledger.
What about the network fees?
Any network fees involved in these transactions are paid by the sender. They do not cost you anything.
What are you doing about this?
We have flagged the scammers account in our "blacklist" database.
What you should do next:
The safest and best course of action is to simply ignore these transactions. Do not click on any links provided in the transaction details, do not visit any websites they promote, and never sign a transaction that you did not deliberately initiate yourself.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach back out. Your security is our top priority.”

🚨 SCAM WARNING: FAKE RIPPLE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
A fake post circulating on X claims Ripple is launching "XRP Holder Tiers" and directing users to xrp-badge.c0m
THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM: Ripple never posted this.
DO NOT CLICK: Connecting your wallet or entering seed phrases at xrp-badge.c0m will result in your XRP being stolen.
FACT: Neither Ripple nor the XRP Ledger requires holders to claim badges or register for perks.
SWIFT Advances. Telcoin Continues to Execute.
SWIFT's blockchain ledger is ready for use, with 17 banks set to tokenized cross-border payments on trusted global infrastructure.
It doesn't change what Telcoin Digital Asset Bank is building.
Patrick Gerhart, President of Telcoin Digital Asset Bank:
“Right now, bankers are watching customers move fiat from their checking and savings accounts to platforms like Coinbase... Why let those deposits leave? Keep them in-house, place them in reserve accounts, earn interest on that, and keep those funds within your institution...”
He also explained how Telcoin Digital Asset Bank helps financial institutions enter the stablecoin economy:
“We can establish your stablecoin... utilize our stablecoin, bring it into your customer base, establish those connections without having to start everything brand new."
Notably, BNY, Citi, HSBC, and Wells Fargo are the banks participating in SWIFT's initiative.
Today, BNY, Citi, HSBC, and Wells Fargo U.S. customers can also connect their bank accounts to open a personal eUSD Digital Cash account through Telcoin Digital Asset Bank.

I rarely write comments on YouTube, but Paul Barron is asking, “If the Clarity Act doesn’t pass, who will be the winner?” (Check video at 7:48 below)
His answer is there are strong alternatives already such as Ripple’s RLUSD launching in Japan.
Telcoin does not need to wait for the Clarity Act.
Telcoin’s Digital Asset Bank is open now. Personal accounts are live in the Telcoin Wallet.
Your account comes with a real US bank account and routing number. Deposit USD via bank transfer, and your balance automatically converts to eUSD Digital Cash — ready to spend, send, or use on-chain.
Throughout the year, Telcoin Digital Asset Bank will roll out compliant yield on eUSD balances and debit cards.

Perspectives.
Fair point. I worry about this too.
First: our model of “The Elite” is just wrong. There are totally different circles that barely touch each other. So no one I know knows what “The Elite” are doing.
Seattle has Tech Billionaires that Barely know of the NYC financial Billionaires, let alone know them personally. Even Seattle Tech Billionaires don’t know Silicon Valley Billionaires all that well. They are mostly minding their own shops.
The Scientific Elite in Cambridge Massachusetts don’t know the Science Policy Elite representing them in Washington DC/N. Virginia AT ALL and are always shocked when I tell them what is being done in their name.
The Scientific Elite in Biology don’t know the Scientific Elite in Physics.
The retail elite don’t hang out with the pharma elite or big food elite except by accident or some bottleneck like fundraising, vacationing, schools, collecting, etc.
So there is no “The Elite”.
—————-
Next once you understand that there is no “The Elite”, the next thing you learn is that Elite Circles worry about each other a lot. I know a lot of wealthy/powerful people terrified of Bill Gates. “What is he doing with global health and vaccines?? Why is he buying farmland?? What is he plotting??” So that’s definitely a thing. The Elite circles fear each other because they compete mostly with each other. Not you or me.
—————
Next: Are the elite circles preparing for doomsday?
Some are. Some aren’t. Most that I know, aren’t prepping.
Most who are have very silly plans. 6 months of canned goods, a few deisel generators and 2 Ex-special forces guys in a luxury bunker on 7500 acres in Wyoming that you brag about, are not going to get you far in a post apocalyptic world. Call it a hunch.
A small number have rather more serious plans. But it cuts into their usable wealth and time. So it’s not a slam dunk that it is a good idea to try to outlive a major pandemic or nuclear war.
——
Last: the Elite don’t always know they are the Elite. I have been at tables with several Billionaires where they complain about the Rich and Powerful.
No one feels all that powerful at the moment. Everyone I know is subject to being sued, blindsided, betrayed, ignored, sidelined, outplayed, divorced, humiliated, smeared in the press or made the target of an online lynch mob.
——-
So, to sum it up. There is no widespread doomsday event known generally to “The Elite” but not the public of which I am aware. Believe me. You’d know. Many of them would have told you…and they are worried just as you are.
I didn’t know all that many powerful people for most of my life.
What I have learned in the last 20 years of having met a few:
Wealth and Success changes a lot, but much much much less than you’d think. No one feels all that powerful. We are still all just slobs with family issues trying to get from A to B and have a few laughs with our loved ones before it’s all over.
Sorry. Maybe there is a level above this, but I sure haven’t seen it.
Reminder for #Australia
Crosses flooded river to get back to pub and room and ends up croc food. Don't cross that river when ya get to it.
NEW: Police airlift a crocodile with the body of a 59-year-old businessman inside.
Local police in South Africa say they suspected the crocodile ate the man after observing it from drones. They then shot it and airlifted it off.
When they landed back on the ground, the crocodile was sliced open, and human remains were found.
The remains are believed to be those of 59-year-old Gabriel Batista, who had previously been swept away in raging floodwaters.
His ring was found inside the animal along with six other pairs of shoes, which authorities fear may belong to other victims.
On Monday, Batista reportedly tried to drive over a flooded bridge to reach his hotel and bar, but he and his truck were swept into the water.
He was then swept down the river, where crocodiles were waiting for prey. It is unclear if Batista was already deceased when he was eaten, but authorities believe some of his other remains may have been eaten by other crocodiles.
