Having a little weep over my coffee at the beauty of this @HanLavery so perfectly captures the truth of the last year and the fierce woman around me, staff and students, who have gotten us through - Thank you #IWD2021 – at Glasgow, Scotland
On #IWD2021 this is a wonderful tribute to the dedication, leadership, power, brilliance & sacrifice of our @UofGlasgow women, in a year like no other.
Thanks @HanLavery for a wonderful poem & to my colleagues for delivering such a poignant celebration.

coming round Slieve Gallon, if you listen hard maybe you’ll hear the sleigh bells.’ I remember climbing the beech tree at the end of our lane, listening through the frosty air.

We've had a lifeboat station in Galway since 1995 with a B Class Atlantic 85 lifeboat. Last month was our 25th year in Galway, our Crew couldn't celebrate but we will do when it is safe. A RT would be great 😉
