PRESS STATEMENT
STAY INFORMED. STAY SAFE.
Public health is a shared responsibility, and the right information helps us all stay safe.
The Federal Government, working with the NCDC and relevant health authorities, is taking the necessary steps to protect public health and strengthen surveillance following the confirmation of an Ebola disease case in the FCT.
There is no need for panic. What matters is staying informed, practising good hand hygiene, knowing the symptoms and seeking guidance from public health authorities if you suspect exposure.
📌 Remember: Ebola spreads through direct contact with the blood or body fluids of an infected person who is sick or has died, or contaminated materials. It does not spread before symptoms begin.
For reliable information or to report a suspected case, call the NCDC toll-free line 6232, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Let’s stay calm, rely on verified information and do our part to keep our communities safe.

U.S. demand for Nigerian cocoa is booming. Cocoa bean exports to the United States jumped from $21.7 million in 2024 to $142 million in 2025.
Trade runs both ways. Wheat makes up 67% of U.S. agricultural exports to Nigeria, helping meet local demand for an important staple.
Fair, two-way trade that works for farmers, businesses, and families on both sides of the Atlantic.

Ok. I’m now a repentant anti PBAT. Perhaps sometimes a system needs some touch of ruthlessness from someone who actually knows what they are doing irrespective of their moral code. I can’t even say I’m a better person.

MY MESSAGE HAS BEEN TWISTED
Even though my media office has issued a responsible clarification on the situation, I still find it necessary to add my voice to address the distortion of my message by political opponents.
I deeply appreciate Nigerians in the diaspora who work tirelessly and make enormous sacrifices to support their families back home. Their remittances pay for school fees, hospital bills, rent, and feeding expenses. Their patriotism and sacrifices deserve our profound respect.
I never asked them to abandon their loved ones. My concern is that Nigeria should not remain a country where millions depend on relatives abroad for basic survival.
Our goal must be to build a nation that provides jobs, affordable healthcare, quality education, and economic opportunities for its citizens.
Political opponents may twist my message, but the truth remains clear: I am not asking Nigerians abroad to abandon their families. I am advocating for a Nigeria that will no longer abandon its own people.
God bless Nigerians at home and abroad. God bless Nigeria. -PO

Peter Obi's regime: This article was published in 2011 so it is very accurate. During his regime as a governor,
-Anambra people in Ihiala LGA had to go daily to health centres and hospitals in neighbouring Imo State for immunisation and general medicare, just as they did in Delta State to benefit from Emmanuel Uduaghan's govt
-For over four months, Anambra State courts were on strike over pay. Do you know the suffering this would've caused for innocent people awaiting trials in court?
-The state Government House, didn't enjoy pipe-borne water for at least five years; Five good years, but is busy donating boreholes today especially in the North and hailed for it.
-Employees of the state water corporation didn't received salaries in at least as many years. The person who wrote this said his own uncle, Pius Nwabugwu, died without salary, gratuity or pension.
You can read the full article yourself.
I am so tired of we Nigerians and this amnesiα we develop during the elections. Someone who was heavily criticized as a governor with articles all over the internet, can't be repacked now. Hold every politician accountable for their failed leadership.

It was a great honour to visit the Presidency of Costa Rica alongside my beloved wife @pastorfoluadeboye during the National Crusade of Hope.
We were warmly received by President Laura Fernández, and I am grateful for this opportunity to strengthen relationships and share in conversations that underscore the importance of faith, hope, peace, and the transformation of lives.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not limited by borders, languages, or cultures. Our mission remains to take the message of salvation to every nation, trusting God to bring hope to individuals, families, and communities.
As we continue the National Crusade of Hope in Costa Rica, my prayer is that the light of Jesus will shine brightly across this beautiful nation, bringing salvation, healing, restoration, and a renewed hope for the future.
May the Lord bless President Laura Fernández and the people of Costa Rica, and may this nation continue to experience the goodness and peace of God.

Even for Peter Obi’s low standard this is reprehensible.
There is no line or boundary Peter Obi isn’t willing to cross to assert himself.
His candidacy and political journey is for the annals of history to be used as an example of how not to play politics.

I listen to my political opponents promising the return of subsidy. I remember my scripture studies in either the Bible or the Holy Quran. When Moses left Egypt, they faced the challenge, the Red Sea parted and gave way. You cannot ask Moses to go back to Egypt.

ABDUCTION OF 20 NYSC MEMBERS: JOINT SECURITY OPERATIONS NET FIVE SUSPECTS
Five suspected members linked to the gang behind the abduction of 20 NYSC members in Imo State have been arrested by operatives of the DSS, Military and Police.
In a statement, the suspects were apprehended during intelligence-led operations in Rivers and Abia States between October 10 and 14. Three other suspects reportedly escaped with varying degrees of injuries.
It could be recalled that the corps members were abducted along the Owerri–Onitsha Expressway on October 1, 2026, and rescued on October 7 during a joint security operation at Amakohia Ubi.
Security agencies say the arrest marks a breakthrough in an efforts to dismantle the criminal network and bring the perpetrators to justice.
