£100 a week on fuel. £400 a month. That’s £300 a month for a good electric car, £30 a month on charging and £70 a month saved. Get an EV.
We need fuel strikes. We need to stand up.

This isn’t the biggest thing in the history of the premier league It’s the biggest scandal in the history of football It’s a decade….. yes ten years of cheating This isn’t fixing a match or paying a referee to win a cup It’s 10 years of systematic cheating

We're at Sandie Peggie's tribunal in Dundee. Absolutely appalling that her husband has been told there's not enough space for him to be in the room to support Sandie.

We the fans already own @CelticFC . Between 1995 and 2003 the club sold shares to more than 30,000 supporters. Most were never sold on. They sit in drawers, in lofts, at old addresses, on certificates nobody has looked at in twenty years. Taken together those holdings are worth about 15.9% of Celtic’s ordinary shares, roughly the same as the club’s largest institutional investor Lindsell Train. On Friday Celtic appointed two directors through a committee that has lost two of its three members, with no search process disclosed to anyone. The answer to that is not a complaint. It is a vote. Find your shares. Register them at celticsupporters.net In November, use them. #CSL

A reminder that this was “cheeky good fun” when women oogled a male athlete with his shirt off. Last week.

It just got easier to charge at home. The UK Government is removing the need for separate planning permission for cross-pavement charging gullies, making it easier for more households to access convenient, lower-cost home charging. With around 40% of households without off-street parking, this could help significantly reduce the “driveway divide” and make switching to an EV more practical for millions of people. The changes could also make it easier to expand public charging, with proposed rules allowing more charging equipment to be installed in car parks. Another positive step towards making EV charging simpler, more accessible and available to everyone.

Great work BA and Heathrow 😡 Nine hours and counting sitting on a plane which has travelled nowhere. At a remote parking bay, no food throughout, and mother/baby and a person with a medical condition desperate to get off. As is everyone else. Toilets no longer available as blocked. No sign of steps or buses. And that’s before the wait for luggage. Pathetic and dangerous lack of corporate contingency and responsibility.

Volkswagen is cutting 100,000 jobs. Britain should be terrified. Not because VW is British. Because this is what happens when industry can no longer compete. Cheap Chinese rivals. High costs. Factories with nowhere near enough work. And what is Britain doing? Making energy brutally expensive. Taxing employers harder. Piling on more rules. Highest industrial power prices in the rich world. Then Reeves wonders why investment goes elsewhere. You cannot tax and regulate your way to an industrial revival. Industry goes where it is wanted. Cheap energy. Low taxes. Freedom to build. Get that wrong and the factories leave. The jobs follow. And once they’re gone, getting them back is almost impossible.
