If it’re any closer, I’d’ve hit you.

As I am, I’ll say this, on the first day: Gaze over the land promised to you and your descendants forever. Make straight the way of the Lord. Keep the covenant of I AM THAT I AM. The courageous choose a life of terror. Fear life more than you fear death, for I must be born again.
Fear is the coming of our Lord: reality imposing on our little-selves, defined precisely as the bits of us opposing reality. Disperse, ye rebels, but whether from fawn or fight, any humiliation is proportional to the resistance, or ignorance, of the reality which it calls forth.

As an adulterer, I’ll say this: You are a cup running over. Pour me out as a libation. Should we not honor the gods? And having offered ourselves up, who are we to judge how the they distribute their gifts. Why yes, I love you, for you must be born again.

As a murderer, I’ll say this: You cling to the thought of life, but unless they are spoken or written, passing first through the gates of faith and reason into the world, your thoughts will die with you, at last freeing you from your gnostic prison, for you must be born again.

Is it a good Buddhist or a bad Buddhist who questions if one can be free from suffering without being willing to suffer and consent to the verification of this willingness at any moment, up to and including all of them?

This is how you see the emptiness of all that arises, incidentally “What a strange thing for a strange thing to find strange!”
This is how you ignore all thoughts, actually "What a strange thing for a divine void to think!"

There’s no way desire is mimetic. Everyone wants to be different.

Cultivating the feeling of being seen by a greater self who ensures we cannot escape consequences IS meditation. It's free: you can do it any time while doing anything. It's understood by the ego. It's measurable. It provides a literal and figurative definition of enlightenment.

Oh! I know: What if we forbid claiming victimhood in vain? What if we forbid the idolization of the victim? What if we forbid all gods before Suffering? Devils of hell: Surely judgement will continue until forgiveness is accepted.
Victimhood is the Knowledge of Good and Evil we set up for ourselves, becoming like God indeed. In our victimocracy, the forbidden fruit is a false claim of victimhood: all too ripe and tempting, clearly spelling the end of our Eden. But we knew what it’d take to forgive them?

The fastest way to enlightenment in this life is to make it easier for all the other ones, or, being enlightened, would you not pray that any of your weight still borne by another be given to you and weight of their own on top of it tenfold over?

Any positive description of who we are is fundamentally seen. By whom? Any negative description of who we are is unseen but is clearly reflected when we, remaining still, can admit we're simply seen. This one coming after us ranks ahead of us because he is, even now, before us.

If Jesus died to take away all sins, he died to take away all victimhood. You can't have it both ways. You can understand why he sold it as absolution, but to be a child of God is to stand in the world and take responsibility for everything as it is. The foundation of liberalism.
Perhaps also it's easier for an elephant to stand in a room unnoticed than for a victim to enter the kingdom of heaven. Forgiveness alone, and at last, saves us from ourselves, where no concern for the less fortunate or any protection from society can reach us.

Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. This is my first confession. I tried to drag earth into heaven and pulled myself closer to hell.

OF COURSE deracinated “No-Self” Buddhism is viral in the West. It’s the ritualization of a primitive scapegoat religion: kill ego, problem solved. The Middle Way must preclude this path: The ego is only another thought—even valuable (cf. Ramana Maharshi, Judaism, Christianity).
