highest roi thing I’ve done as a student is just asking people for stuff aka freewilmaxxing this month alone I got to meet Notion cofounder, got free oura ring. both from just tweeting got to see supercell HQ in Finland (makers of Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars) turnaround for all was <7 days i didn’t know anyone personally beforehand. just cold dmed and asked if it feels scary think abt it like this: worst case they don’t respond which is except what happens when u don’t ask. so ur not risking anything. highly recommend: - tweet the thing u want and tag the company - dm the founder of the app u use and js ask for an internship. - be specific- vague asks get ignored pro tip have something that backs u up. project u shipped, social presence anything that answers “why should i respond to this person” I promise u do not need a billion connections or a warm intro. although warm intros do help :)
