literally was so anxious before this point because it took months of design and simulation and prototypes to get to the point where I could validate how they qualitatively sounded, instead of just relying on sheets of numbers and graphs

can someone please explain the trend of new records pressing the A side on the info side?? it’s so frustrating to have two conflicting conventions 😭

Finally released my “cvnty daytime summer camp” set from last summer’s Campette 2024 campout – my first released live mix in almost 2 years 😵‍💫 Bright and saccharine, it’s a daytime departure from my usual mood 🖤 on.soundcloud.com/j8LdYwoiwx…

We've long suspected that Spotify was recruiting fake artists and juicing them in its algorithm and placing them on the most popular playlists. Liz Pelly collected the internal docs + other evidence to finally prove it.

next dance music trend: being underground. like, in the earth’s crust. fully grounded. by being in the ground. deep earth sub bass. crust dweller core. fissure rhythms.

a photo of a large mural suspended among redwood trees. a pentagon of LED lights sits at the center, while a laser illuminates about a dozen paper lanterns hung haphazardly underneath. the redwood trees are bathed in ominous red and purple light. the atmosphere is mysterious & ritualistic

I don’t buy the self-righteous “harm reduction vote” line from people who’ve watched the annihilation of Palestinians for 13 months and refused to speak up. You’re heartless or a coward or both. More people need to sit with that fact. Look at what politics has done to you.
