Keeping girls in school equips them with critical knowledge, self-confidence, and negotiation skills to assert control over their own bodies, life choices, and timing of marriage. @GirlsFirstFund

The girls @extend_uganda lit up the stage with a skit about staying in school isn鈥檛 about lessons but unlocking doors to opportunity and a brighter future
Their great message reminded us that every classroom is a future built and every dropout is a dream deferred #UniteForGirls.

The girls from @extend_uganda brought the stage to life with a powerful skit showing that staying in school is more than learning, it opens doors to opportunities, confidence, and a brighter future. Every classroom nurtures a dream, while dropping out can put that dream on hold.

One of my favourite moments was hearing our partners encourage the girls to believe in themselves, dream boldly and understand that their voices truly matter. #UniteForGirls

One of the most powerful moments at today鈥檚 #UniteForGirls was a skit by our partner @extend_uganda that showed what child marriage can look like in real life.
Through the skit, pupils saw how forcing a girl into marriage too early can make her drop out of school, take away her childhood and stop her from chasing her dreams.
It sparked important conversations and helped pupils understand that every girl has the right to go to school, be safe, be heard, enjoy her childhood and decide what she wants for her future.
It is our responsibility to let girls learn, grow and dream.

Very soon, we shall be UNITING FOR GIRLS in Namayumba.
A huge thank you to all the partners who have already registered to stand with us. Your commitment is helping create a space where girls can be heard, celebrated, supported and empowered to dream bigger.
There is still room for more organisations, partners, leaders and individuals to join us. You can register and be part of a movement that puts girls at the centre.
