Our highlight of the #IDGC2026 celebrations and podcast launch was the fact that it brought together individuals from different walks of life, both young and old. When we speak #Inclusion we mean it.

As we launched the #LetTheChildSpeak Podcast we drew attention to the fact that advocacy and action go hand in hand. In order to promote children's rights, we must take the step of action. This podcast is that step of action.
We had a panel session on the driver's of child marriage and efforts the @PoliceUg, schools, CSOs, and children can take part in to ensure that girls are protected and included.

Minister of state for youth and children's affairs, @MercyLakiskis was represented by Rogers Golooba , senior welfare and Probation Officer. In his address he highlighted the government's deliberate efforts to investments in programs that empower girls with capital and knowledge.
