i want abdul to win but publicly admitting that DSA is knocking doors for a self proclaimed capitalist that has said he doesn’t want our endorsement is crossing a line and antithetical to the party we’re trying to build
dsa is a never ending cycle of tiered endorsement attempts

Sorry but you cannot be emailing the democratically elected national political committee of DSA things like "you need us more than we need you" as a NYC chapter treasurer, that's fucked up and uncomradely behavior and absolutely warrants a public letter of rebuke from membership

Sign the letter! I believe that DSA is strong because we have everyone from Maoists to Socdems in the org. Yelling at each other over policy is normal and healthy. But when you threaten to split, like NYC-DSA is, you cross a line that could set the left back decades!

No matter how heated things get (including from me personally) separationist attitudes are out of the question. We can’t repeat the mistakes of the past in splitting up like some *seem* to be suggesting

this is what stuck out at me. candidates mamdani endorsed that NYC-DSA didn’t still ran best in areas where the emerging base was most concentrated, but it was DSA endorsees who were able to squeeze the most juice out of the lemon. this is, simply put, The DSA Difference™️ babey
NEW: In 2025, Mayor Mamdani’s campaign brought hundreds of thousands of voters into New York’s primary electorate. In 2026, enough of them came back to change the baseline forever. My precinct-by-precinct look at the electorate that didn’t vanish. (link in replies)

This election should not even be close, but Kotek has governed as a corporate centrist, ushering in an era of data center build out and abuse, empowering Reaganites to make recommendations on tax policy, trying to kill Preschool for All, and much more.
🚨THIS IS NOT A JOKE: Republican Christine Drazan leads incumbent Governor Tina Kotek in "solid blue" Oregon. Oregon - 2026 Governor 🟥Christine Drazan 48% (+4) 🟦Tina Kotek* 44% Kotek defeated Drazan by merely 3% in 2022 and polling shows this 2026 rematch will be just as close. Oregon is now a potential pickup for the GOP as November nears. Public Opinion Strategies | June 22-24, 2026 | 600 RV More Polls: @Pollsmax

As of the end of June DSA has surpassed the Socialist Party of America to become the largest socialist party in the history of the USA.
very soon, if not already, DSA is going to surpass the all time peak membership of the Socialist Party of America. DSA is the successor to the party of Eugene Debs and it's wonderful to see our organization embodying and begining to live up to that legacy.

dual power was something practiced after the February Revolution. the contradiction was simple, on paper Kerensky ruled, but the people organizing functional social institutions were the Bolsheviks. it was not about having bees or doing charity work under the Tsar
Why are Communists keeping bees? Because dual power isn't just a theory, it's something you build. Our hives produce honey, support local food production through pollination, and teach practical skills. Every project that helps working people become more self-sufficient strengthens our communities. The bees build their hive. We're building ours.

No image better illustrates how hollowed out the mobilizational capacities of these unions and community organizations are. They have no social base anymore, yet trumpet their rootedness. They replaced the old political machines with a void that they can't even rule over.

Taking out the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus with a self-described communist 32 year old PhD student who tweeted “fuck Kamala Harris” is beyond insane. DEFCON 1 moment for the Democratic establishment.
