At the start of my primary April 2025, Haley’s goons threatened me (about my being a recovering alcoholic which is literally how I got into advocacy work more) to support her and made clear there’d be consequences if I didn’t.

if obama actually had a problem with haley stevens implying he endorsed her, that shit would’ve been stopped with one phone call
it allowed him to have it both ways - technically staying out of the race while still offering support to an AIPAC freak
i want abdul to win but publicly admitting that DSA is knocking doors for a self proclaimed capitalist that has said he doesn’t want our endorsement is crossing a line and antithetical to the party we’re trying to build
