As mentioned in our last post, a lack of networks is affecting women’s careers. It even impacts women at the top of the career ladder, with 𝟕𝟗% 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 seeing networking as a clear challenge to their progression.

Leadership Summit was developed to tackle this exact issue by giving women the tools, confidence, support, and networks to reach their aspirations of senior leadership. Networking and connection are a huge part of what we do and provide at The Pipeline.

With lack of networks affecting women in management the most, the talent pipeline is under threat. Women continuously drop out at this level – the middle rung – stopping progression to senior leadership.

Our recent landmark report revealed a persistent challenge women face in progressing to leadership: a lack of access to networks. More than 𝟑 𝐢𝐧 𝟒 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧⁣⁣ cite lack of networks as hindering their career progression - most prominent in managers (81%).
