The day we never wanted to come is finally here. Tonight, Leo Messi will play his final match for the Argentina National Team.
And speaking completely objectively, I can’t think of a more beautiful and emotional story in any sport than the one between Lionel Messi and Argentina. It’s the kind of story that I’m sure will one day become a movie and have books written about it.
It’s a story that every person can use as motivation in life, no matter what happens, never give up and keep fighting for your dreams.
You fall? Get back up. You fall again? Get back up again and keep fighting.
This story had everything, sadness, happiness, injustice, justice, criticism, praise, defeats and victories. After so many disappointments, Leo Messi still managed to achieve absolutely everything with Argentina, everything that had always been his biggest dream in football. He achieved it through his leadership, his effort, and alongside an incredible group of players.
I’ve watched six World Cups, and not a single one of them was without Messi. I don’t know the Argentina National Team without Messi, and I don’t know Messi without the Argentina National Team.
I can’t imagine not having that extra excitement anymore, knowing: “Hoy juega Messi.” I don’t think any player will ever be able to give me the same feeling I had watching Messi play, especially when he was wearing the Argentina shirt.
And maybe the worst part is realizing that, as time passes, it slowly takes away the childhood that Leo Messi gave us, and there’s absolutely nothing we can do to stop it.
A 21-year story is coming to an end and I can proudly say that I regret nothing. I witnessed around 90% of Messi’s entire journey with Argentina, and throughout all those years, I never once turned against him. I suffered and enjoyed everything with him.
It didn’t matter who Argentina were playing. Whether it was the World Cup, Copa América, World Cup qualifiers, or simply a friendly game, I can confidently say that whenever it was possible for me, I was there watching every single game.
There’s really nothing more I can say.
Thank you, Leo.
This was the most beautiful story in the history of sport and I’m proud and grateful that, me, we, the fans, were able to be a part of it too. 🇦🇷🐐

🇵🇰 In 2015, when Saudi Arabia asked Pakistan for troops, warplanes and warships for its war in Yemen, Pakistan's parliament debated the request for days and unanimously voted to stay neutral, amid broad public opposition.
On Monday, Pakistan agreed to "rapid deployment" of forces to Saudi Arabia under the Makkah defense pact, as fighting with Ansar Allah escalates. No parliamentary debate or vote on the deployment has been reported.
Since 2015, power in Pakistan has shifted sharply toward the military. Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir was made Chief of Defense Forces and given lifetime legal immunity under a 2025 constitutional amendment, while former Prime Minister Imran Khan, overwhelmingly the most popular figure in the country, remains in prison.
🚨 Pakistan and Türkiye will immediately deploy troops and military capabilities to Saudi Arabia, the three countries said after an emergency meeting of their Makkah Alliance for Defense in Riyadh on Monday.
The joint statement says the alliance will move "immediately to the practical implementation of the collective defense commitments," with "rapid deployment" of the agreed forces to the kingdom.
The three also condemned the "attempted targeting of Makkah and Madinah." On Sept. 16, the Saudi coalition said it intercepted a drone headed for Mecca but released no evidence. Last week, it said a drone struck an electricity station in Medina, citing wreckage that has not been independently verified. Ansar Allah denied both, calling them "lies" and saying it targets only oil facilities and military bases.
Retired Pakistani Lt. Gen. Nauman Mahmood was named the alliance's first secretary-general.

Turkey’s decision to send troops and equipment to Saudi Arabia, just as Pakistan has already been doing, lines up with what I have been reporting: preparations are underway for a major offensive, in which both Turkish and Pakistani forces will operate covertly on the front under flags that are not their own.
This move consolidates the Mecca Pact as a solid arrangement, one that is set to expand.

I have been building my own PCs for about 20 years, so I looked at this one like a builder.
RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell SFF with 24GB, Ryzen 5 7600, 64GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe. In a box that small. $3,499.
Then I priced the parts. The GPU alone is $2,700 to $3,400 at retail right now. 64GB of DDR5 is $370 if you are lucky and over $1,000 if you are not. Add the CPU, board, PSU, SSD and case and I get about $3,900 in the best case. More likely $4,500+.
So the finished machine costs less than the parts. I didnt expect to write that in 2026.
24GB wont run everything. But Qwen3.8-27B fits, the card pulls 70W, and there is no subscription. The models run at home and stay at home.
It looks like these guys managed to put good AI hardware into a compact case at a fair price. Good luck @zainmfj. I want more hardware like this.

I am gonna say something risky:
Most of the FDEs I've seen are solving BS problems.
1. Existing enterprise workflows were designed around people, not agents.
2. Real AI gains require rebuilding the org chart.
3. Most execs have no incentive to do that, and most CEOs aren't in founder mode.
4. So FDEs automate the status quo, because that's what's easy to sell. But the status quo is stupid and will be obsolete.
5. If you FDE on critical workflows, 1) enterprises are really this dumb to hand off trade secrets? 2) if you know that, shouldn't you start a competing firm?
If you FDE on non-essential AND soon-obselete workflows, did you learn anything meaningful and repeatable?
6. If you are a smart young FDE, why spend your best years automating dying workflows and managing people who fear AI will take their jobs? Shouldn't you start an agent-native firm from scratch in that industry instead?
Analogy would be, instead of teaching everyone to be AI builders within a tech company, you as FDE build agents that auto-ingest meeting notes for PM, QA, front-end, back-end, devops, UX and help each of them write PRD, Figma, and meeting notes faster for their sync meeting, but the right solution should be to shrink roles, hire full-stack AI builders, and kill meetings. You gain lots of experience with your PRD/Figma/standup meeting sync agents but it's a useless skill.
I am not a FDE expert so I might oversimplify things. I am genuinely curious about this topic and welcome any critiques and comments.

The seventh edition of our Top 100 Consumer AI Apps is here.
New this time: a revenue leaderboard, alongside the usual web and mobile traffic rankings.
Three years ago we published the first edition. ChatGPT was #1, Claude was unranked, and the entire category was chatbots, image generators, and not much else.
In today's edition:
- ChatGPT still holds the throne, now with 1B+ monthly actives on mobile
- Claude has climbed to #3 on web with nearly 1B monthly visits
- The category has expanded to vibe coding (Lovable, Cursor, Replit), music (Suno), design (Figma), voice (ElevenLabs), video (Higgsfield, Kling), agents (Manus), and even hardware (Plaud)

there's a strange thing with AI that
your ideas need to come out fully fleshed and well thought out
because the friction that would help flesh them out in the older times, simply isn't there.
its like an artist knowing exactly what they want before painting the first stroke,
which is not how creativity works
