This man heals what doctors can't:
Rupert Spira.
It's impossible to be mentally trapped, depressed or anxious after understanding his teachings.
Here's his 5-step approach to unlocking mental freedom: 🧵
I woke up this morning waiting to feel something, and nothing came.
No big feeling, no breakthrough, just a regular morning.
And I caught my mind trying to turn that into a problem.
> Why don't I feel more?
> Why isn't today better?
> Where did the magic go?
So I let go of that.
I let the morning be exactly what it is, and let myself feel exactly how I feel, a little flat and nothing more.
The moment I stopped needing it to be different, something shifted.
It wasn't fireworks.
It was a quiet, steady peace that had been sitting underneath everything the whole time.
The kind you only notice once you stop chasing the loud kind.
I think most of us aren't actually missing peace.
We just keep waiting for a better version of this moment to show up first.
But it's already here, on a regular morning, the second you stop asking it to look like something else.
You need to be presence-maxxing. Putting the phone down. Feeling the boredom. Relentlessly coming back to this moment. Nobody wants to die realizing they were never actually there for their own life.
What happens when you reach for your phone every time you feel slightly uncomfortable?
In line.
Waiting for the microwaved pan pizza.
Between two AI chats finishing tasks.
Maybe 50 times a day
50 tiny escapes from yourself
50 feelings you never met
Over a year, that's thousands of moments you chose distraction over being here
And then you wonder why you feel disconnected
You didn't lose connection to life
You trained yourself to leave it
I got angry today at something that wasn't even happening.
I was walking to the store, chewing on some "issue" in my head. Jaw tight. Chest heavy. And a voice in there going:
"It shouldn't be like this, damn it!"
Then I stopped on the sidewalk.
Wait. What am I actually reacting to?
Nothing. Just a thought. A little movie my mind was playing about how things should be.
I was fighting a picture in my head. Not my life.
And that's the whole thing, my friends..
We suffer because we live in two worlds at once. The one in our head, and the one right in front of us. When they don't match, it grinds. That grinding is the tension, the:
"it shouldn't be like this."
But one of those worlds isn't real.
So I let it go.
And what was left?
The air. My feet on the sidewalk. The store up ahead.
No story. No labels. No suffering.
Just this moment.. and its perfect.
Here's how to stop being so reactive without journaling for an hour or meditating for 30 minutes:
Next time you get triggered, do 3 things:
Find it in your body
Put your hand there
Breathe into it for 60 seconds
No analyzing
No fixing
No story
Just one minute of not fighting yourself
Do that 10 times and watch what happens to the 11th trigger

Just did another TRE (Trauma Release Exercise),
45 minutes ago and I'm blown away.
I feel SOOOO much lighter in body - mind - spirit
than 45 minutes ago.
I'm smiling for no reason,
im sitting up straight in my chair (not sure why but it feels good af).
This is my third week doing it and today was honestly a game changer.
The shakings were strong and so was the relief afterwards.
Gonna keep doing it until new year at least and keep you guys update.

"Protect your energy" has become the most spiritual way to avoid people
> Not every uncomfortable person is draining you
> Not every trigger is a red flag
> Not every conflict needs a boundary
Sometimes the discomfort is yours
And the people triggering you are just showing you where you're still holding on

You meditate every morning
So why are you still triggered by 10am?
Because you're practicing peace in the one place nothing happens
The cushion is easy
Life is the test
The email.
The bank app.
The comment that stings
That's where presence actually gets built
Don't leave your practice on the cushion
Bring it to the moment it gets hard

This one question taught me more than my master's degree at university:
"Where is it in your body right now?"
The story is in your head.
The truth of this moment is in your chest.
Ask it next time you're triggered,
then just observe, feel and let go.

And it all make sense now..

You don't give in because the urge is too strong.
The feeling in your body can't make you do anything.
The pictures in your head can..
4 things I do when an old urge hits:
1. Stop asking why. Don't label it either.
2. Find where it sits in the body. Let it be there.
3. When the images come back, return to "I am." Hold on.
4. Breathe with it. Nothing else.
Then trust it, even when the mind says it isn't working.

IN A WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE ADDICTED TO :
- Scrolling
- Noise
- Being busy
- Never being alone
BE THE ONE WHO CAN SIT WITH :
- Silence
- Boredom
- Uncertainty
- An empty evening
- Himself
Trust me, that's where your real life begins.
