we just released v0.4.0 of evmnow.eth.limo.
now allows searching for .gwei and .wei domains across all address inputs.
powered entirely by onchain data
- hourly via @chainlink USD<>ETH
- realtime via @uniswap USDC<>WETH pool
happy watching evm.now/ether
Thanks so much to @MichaelHirsch of @BlockhashXYZ for sponsoring as our first external partner!
same goes for us
to interact with our open source version of evm.now you can still use
bafybeig5h4p5iuhxiemmyrrbrvl…
or preferably your own local ipfs gateway
or any other gateway you trust
The kind people at @eth_limo have warned me that there has been an attack on their DNS registrar. So please do not visit vitalik.eth.limo or other eth.limo pages until they confirm that things are back to normal.

Note: All of this is still in early alpha stages. Please use with caution. The metadata standard is in draft mode and expected to change significantly.
We'd love your feedback and ideas on how to improve it.
On a high level - it sits between ERC-7572 and ERC-7730 enriching the whole lifecycle of permissionlessly rendering dApps with great UX.

This is a streamlined open source version of the full block explorer experience at evm.now.
The main evm.now application uses the same `evmnow/contract-reader` component library that the dApp uses: github.com/evmnow/dapp/tree/…
The block explorer builds on the entire history of Ethereum and has many moving parts but we hope this slimmed down version showcases our vision of how open source and proprietary software can benefit each other.
A decentralized website with onchain versioning.
When @ValidatorEth sent us the evmnow.eth ENS domain (thanks again) - we knew we have to use this to host a static version of our contract reader experience.
Each version is deployed as an immutable IPFS hosted website.
View it on any eth contenthash gateway (e.g. evmnow.eth.limo/)
One of the biggest points of feedback was that people want an open source version of evm now.
We fully agree so we ripped out the heart of what we have been working on and are releasing it as a fully independent open source 3-layered package.
- Our contract metadata standard (working draft)
- An SDK to fetch and enrich contract details with ERC-7572 contractURI, NatSpec and verified source code from @SourcifyEth, as well as our metadata drafts.
- A UI-layer and component library that generates automatic dApps for each contract.

Introducing the open source version of evm now: evmnow.eth.limo/
We believe EVM contracts deserve a simple, open source UI that enables users to use contracts permissionlessly.
That's why we're working on a standard and sdk and the above example dApp UI to power better UX for interacting with smart contracts.

.@SourcifyEth is a public good that provides infrastructure and tools for contract verification
we use their public dataset to show you verified contract source code.
it is such important foundational work to decentralize contract code verification and we’re so grateful for their work and support.
