For the Union to meet its climate targets by 2030, it must add electricity generation to decarbonisation. However, integration of renewables into electricity generation is technically demanding and requires millions of investments.

The EUSysFlex project project identified the technical scarcities of the future #powersystem. The success of the project, led by EirGrid, will be of tangible benefit for our European-wide 2030 targets, as Mark Foley, EirGrid Group Chief Executive, has acknowledged in this video.
