President of Estonia, Alar Karis, has raised the issue of years of GPS interference in Baltics to ITU. GNSS is important critical infrastructure and attacks on has to be taken more seriously
GPS interference & infrastructure protection are global security issues, discussed in Paris with @ITUSecGen Doreen Bogdan-Martin. GPS threats endanger lives, & Baltic Sea subsea infrastructure needs stronger cooperation.

This is quite interesting hack to make a "DDOS on taxi/delivery" orders. On #mobiletartu conference we were discussing w/ @mattzook about the need to study vulnerabilities of geo systems affecting physical world.
Someone hacked #YandexTaxi and ordered all available taxis to Kutuzov Prospect in Moscow
Now there is a huge traffic jam with taxis.
It‘s like James Bond movie.
I think the most famous story in this line is about a guy who carried 99 phones in cart and caused virtual traffic jam and most probably different routing directions for others theguardian.com/technology/2…

The 10th Opinion Festival was held in Paide recently. Erki Saluveer @erkisal participated in the discussion “Why do I have to trust my data to the state?” which was organised by Statistics Estonia. The discussion revolved mostly around who should have the control over the data.
Today, Estonian government relocated a Soviet T-34 tank monument from Narva to War Museum in Tallinn. Interesting is that the monument POI has been already completely removed from @googlemaps. The POI is still visible in @bingmaps, Apple Maps and OSM (OK, that I changed myself)
Here is interesting tracking story by @Samir_Madani from @TankerTrackers to discover that the first grain ship to leave Ukraine under UN-brokered deal has currently ended up in Tartus, Syria.
