By my estimation token quota for Opus on @antigravity went from zero rate limits on Ultra in 6 hour window to about 30 minutes of usage. This game ended quickly.

Chicago has long deserved a serious startup hub.
Introducing Density Collective.
I forgot to launch my serverless vector DB 2 months ago called Whiplash. 🫠 It's open source and it wraps around DynamoDB.

It's based on LSH approx nearest neighbor search, which has fairly weak recall, but this can be swapped out for other strategies.
Another was launched today so I figured I'd throw it out there. The ecosystem definitely needs something like this.

After 4 months of focused work, I'm launching what is, to my knowledge, the first truly serverless vector database: turbopuffer.com/
$1/month per million vectors (10-70x cheaper than others)
$4 per million queries

We are open sourcing Dolly, a ChatGPT-like model that can do instruction following, created for $30, trained 3 hours on 1 server. The secret in magical human-like interactivity probably lies in a small dataset.

LLMs might be the most incredible application of Occam's razor we will ever witness. Data science got so complicated and then converged to a single simple interface and a static model.
Not surprised. LLMs give no guarantees to the app owner, nor the user, that it follows instructions 100% of the time. LLMs also end up in a conflicting situation where the ask of a user disobeys the app owner's instructions.

It turns out you can use an undocumented model (Whisper?) on the OpenAI API to transcribe audio! All you need is a valid API key and a spoofed form.
Replying to @BlackInkAI
SVGs (scalable images) are important for artists so they can easily edit tattoos in @Procreate as well as print clean tattoos that aren't pixelated.
