Looking for work! Dear followers, you know me through my content and this gives you a neat window into my philosophy, skills and quality level I strive for. After 2 decades in academia, I am tired. Not of the challenges, but of the structure of that industry. 1/4

@maro254 Hey Mark, just wanted to say thanks for all of your work over the years creating content for those of us who want to know more about magic. I started your podcast during the pandemic and decided to start over at the beginning. I am caught up to where I started now. 1/2

I just looked through the upcoming podcasts (#749-present) and I see you have some epic guests, names i’ve only heard you mention from magic’s past, and you are beginning to mention sets in which I have experience opening and playing. Very excited. Thanks again. 😃

@Sierkovitz i’m listening to LR 709 ft. you and you are talking about whether it’s worth pivoting to a color pair after finding a signal that tells you the archetype is open. e.g. scry deck in lotr. the rare(s) were seen as essentially required in that deck to function. 1/2

given that unless you can get the required uncommon/rares for the deck to be worth pivoting to, is there a value you can apply to a card(s) that tells the story of how important it is in a particular archetype or is that too vague of a definition to apply a single number to?
