The @equality_fund, @GAGGA_Alliance & UK’s @FCDOGovUK hosted a #CSW69 event on gender, conflict & climate—showing their deep interconnectedness.

It’s happening now! Our #CSW69 event on the conflict-gender-climate nexus is live. Women & gender-diverse defenders from the Philippines, Brazil, Mozambique & Burkina Faso are sharing how they resist land grabs, militarization & climate destruction. Follow along.
🌍 Amid backlash, conflicts, and crises, what if hope overwhelmed despair?
Today - as we mark five years of the Equality Fund - we're proud to share our #MoonshotToMilestone journey of activating $100 million to over 1,000 organizations across 100 countries.
And we are just getting started
We're on the cusp of what’s possible if leaders are funded to continue creating an unstoppable powerbase for the future.

Together, we are multiplying our shared power.
Connecting movements already actively working together, coordinating across geographies, issues and sectors to create a sustainable powerbase of movements, leaders and allies.
Like @ColetivoMulherV in Brazil, who have worked at the heart of communities to build gender-based violence services that have been so successful they are recommended by judges and police.
We are on the cusp of what’s possible if leaders are funded to continue creating an unstoppable powerbase for the future. 💪
#MoonshotToMilestone
Across the arc of history artists have always propelled activism. They have grounded and guided our movements in dark times. Artists have provoked and prodded; questioned and complicated. They’ve stirred our consciences and reminded us of the possibility of radical change #IWD25
They present multiple perspectives- from a single, powerful instant of breaking free of patriarchy, braided and interwoven hair as a symbol of the intimacy of community, to sparking ideas, movements, and change. And much more.
Here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come.

📢 On February 21st, we commemorate International Mother Language Day! 🌍🗣️
Every lost language is a vanished legacy of knowledge! Ensuring linguistic diversity and promoting respect for mother languages is essential to eliminating discrimination against Indigenous Women.
