We want to hear from you! PyOhio is Jul 31 & the CFP is open now through April 19:
* All short talks (5 or 10 mins)
* Looking for a variety of topics!
Think: things that would be interesting to users of Python buy may not typically be a conference talk

We’ve started our at-least-daily play through of “Curse Walk” by @Shaboi early this year. Because that’s what 2020 needs.

Greetigns, I just found out that Eventbrite is laying off 45% of their workforce and I’m one of them.
Obviously We’re in strange times but I’m currently looking for a new position. Preferably based in Nashville, or remote-friendly.
Here’s my resume: andymatthews.net/resume/ – at East Hill, Nashville
I know all this is terrible, but it can't ALL be terrible, right? What's something good that's happened to you since all this started? I'll start:
My daughter learned to ride a bike and I swear my children are closer than they have ever been.

Mother and (adult) daughter in the grocery store. Mom is explaining the giant pronunciation scandal about... Jif brand peanut butter. Daughter tries to explain that it's about gif images, not peanut butter. Mom is just not having it at all; it's definitely about peanut butter.

For those who are asking/curious: the venue for #PyTN2020 was unaffected by the recent (and devastating) tornadoes in Nashville. We're still on for this weekend and excited to see everyone!

📣 It's Officially Official™: #PyTN2020 is SOLD OUT! 💪🎉
Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket! 🙇♂️ For anyone who missed out this year, we're sorry we won't get to see you, but we hope we'll see you next year!
Ordered stickers for #PyTN2020 from @stickermule and got a free bottle of #MuleSauce. For real, though, it is *far* better than it has any business being for a hot sauce made by a company that prints stickers.
