Epirus has entered a CRADA with DEVCOM GVSC to advance next‑generation HPM capabilities for @USArmy ground forces.
The partnership will explore how scalable HPM solutions can be integrated onto ground vehicles, strengthening formation‑level protection, enhancing survivability at the FLOT, and giving Soldiers new tools to counter evolving multi‑domain threats.
A significant step forward in maneuver defense and electromagnetic dominance.
Fixed-site defense isn’t enough anymore. Formation protection demands maneuverability.
Leonidas GV brings mobile, non-kinetic HPM protection to the fight, neutralizing autonomous threats.
Headed to AUSA this week? Visit us in Exhibit Hall A at Booth 442 and see the GV at @GD_LandSystems Booth 703.
On October 5, Epirus' Leonidas was announced as a participant for the @DeptofWar directed energy pilot program.
We're supporting JIATF-401 as they evaluate scalable, critical and safe non-kinetic tech for the counter-UAS fight.
Our goals:
- Modernize policy around HPM with real-world data.
- Accelerate the safe use of HPM in U.S. airspace.
- Integrate HPM into air defenses as a critical layer against drone swarms.

Epirus recently joined @USArmy's Operation JAILBREAK FALCON FURY to demo how Leonidas plugs sensors + HPM into a broader C2 network.
No single system can counter every UAS threat. Effective defense requires sensors, C2, and multiple effectors working together. As threats get more complex, interoperability gives operators the agility to pick the right tool and react fast.
Proud to support the Army’s move to open, adaptable architectures and demonstrate how HPM reinforces layered air defense.
A swarm is many. The response is singular. Leonidas GV (Epirus x @GD_LandSystems) brings mobile high‑power microwave counter‑drone defense to scale, protecting critical assets with directed energy. Fast, operational, one-to-many effects.
Heading to AUSA this year? Come see us and the GV! We’ll be at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from October 12–14 in Exhibit Hall A, Booth 442.
You can find Leonidas GV on display at GDLS booth 703.
At the XVIII Airborne Corps’ counter‑UAS proving ground, Leonidas software integrated with the U.S. Army’s sensor and C2 network and went head‑to‑head with live red‑team UAS threats, including swarm scenarios at Scarlet Dragon 26-3.
We fielded a DFT Sensor Tower and Manta AI-Assisted Sensing system and demonstrated Leonidas’ full C2 stack via an API now in the Army API Marketplace, supported swarm ops, and proved readiness in real‑world field conditions alongside Soldiers.
Grateful to the @18airbornecorps for the opportunity to show how Leonidas fits into the Army’s integrated counter‑UAS architecture.

We’re excited to welcome Justin Jordan as SVP of Growth.
A former Marine and drone-industry operator, Justin has scaled government and international defense businesses by winning programs and expanding federal and allied partnerships.
He’ll own our growth strategy across the U.S. Government, commercial, and international partners so our systems protect warfighters, civilians, and critical assets, and stop autonomous threats before they reach the fight.
Welcome aboard, Justin.

SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT:
Andy Lowery, CEO of @epirus will be joining the Space & Defense Investor Summit.
Epirus is scaling Leonidas, a solid-state high-power microwave system that defeats drone swarms non-kinetically with what the company calls an unlimited magazine.
The company has raised over $550M from @8vc, @WashingHarbour (& others) and is moving Leonidas into Army programs and allied fielding.

One system to defeat many threats, wherever Marines go.
HAVOC is the second generation of Epirus HPM built for @USMC following the Expeditionary Directed Energy Counter-Swarm (ExDECS) system we delivered in 2025.
Based on ExDECS feedback, the HAVOC system will introduce step-change improvements: more power, greater electronic lethality, wider coverage and better operational reliability.
🚨 JUST IN: @USMC has awarded Epirus an $11M contract for the High-power Microwave Autonomous Vehicle Operational Capability (HAVOC) program.
Epirus will deliver a sled-mounted HPM system for universal integration with manned & unmanned ground vehicles.

With support from Epirus, engineers & Soldiers are building side-by-side in Lawton, Ft. Sill.
As we continue to build in Oklahoma, the @FISTAinnovation has selected an Epirus-developed high-power RF amplifier for use in its two new anechoic chambers.
This commercial test instrument, the EPW-2001, will enable FISTA to independently conduct specialized RF testing & evaluate HPM effects on electronic targets.
@TomColeOK04, Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, joined Epirus & FISTA leadership for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the facilities’ opening.
The chambers sit near the Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems University & the U.S. Army’s Fires Center of Excellence & Air Defense Artillery School.

Happy 250th, America! 🇺🇸
Two hundred fifty years ago, the idea of defeating a swarm of drones with a high-power microwave system would have sounded like witchcraft.
The pace of change in defense technology has compressed what used to take decades into years, and capabilities like high-power microwave that were theoretical for most of our Nation’s history are now operational realities.
That innovative leap says as much about American ingenuity as anything else we’ll celebrate this Fourth of July.
The founders bet on a nation that could out-invent anyone. Two and a half centuries later, that's still the bet we're making.
On both sides of the Atlantic, the drone threat has become more sophisticated, more accessible & more urgent.
To discuss the capabilities needed to meet this challenge across NATO states, we welcomed officials from the Hellenic Ministry of National Defence to Epirus HQ.
And, yes, our Greek-inspired company name may have come up, too!
