There's a lot of blasphemy on that map. KK overrated? I'll give you overpriced, but not overrated. Buccees? Cheesesteak is overrated? What!? Fall leaves? Sweet tea? This person hates life.
America’s best days may in fact be behind us, I fear…

On Elisabeth Elliotgate over at Christianity Today: It's spineless for the editors to greenlight the piece and then stealth delete with no communication with the writer the minute there's backlash. I say this while having no sympathy with the writer's agenda.

Why would you show us videos about in utero development and then a LIST OF STATES’ ABORTION LAWS “in case your client needs to ‘take a camping trip’.”
Lord, have mercy on us, we are callous to the unborn. 😭😭😭

I would hope that every professing Christian planning to watch a livestreamed execution would simultaneously be steadfast in prayer prior to same for the guilty party to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

I just don't understand why people think livestreaming the execution of a Muslim terrorist is going to deter already-suicidal future Muslim terrorists.

NEW BORN INFANTS CAN BE TERMINATED (INFANTICIDE) AFTER A LIVE BIRTH IN MINNESOTA
MN Governor Tim Walz signing to REPEAL the Minnesota “Born Alive Infants Protection Act.”
Now a botched abortion (an infant born alive after a botched abortion) or a healthy new born infant, Can Now Be LEGALLY TERMINATED after a live birth. This is defined as INFANTICIDE. Keeping the new born drugged until it's death is been labled as " COMFORT CARE"
Look how elated the women around Waltz are behaving…

Why in the year of 2026 have we not come up with a better way to package bacon?
There's no excuse for this.

As a parent, lap reading is a joy. It’s a chance to cuddle your little one, while exposing them to rich vocabulary, concepts of print, and the wonder of books.
When it comes to infants, however, lap reading can deprive babies of their favorite (and most important) sight: YOU.
Which is why you might want to explore face-to-face reading as well. (With your baby facing toward you and the book simultaneously.)
Developmentally, there are multiple benefits to allowing your baby to see you as you read together.
Your little one is an expert at “reading” your face. This posture allows your baby to track your eyes to discover what you’re tuning in to. It also allows them to watch your mouth and learn how you’re making the words and sounds that accompany the pictures.
This clever little one illustrates the case beautifully, creating a face-to-face experience of her own.
Watch as our hero divides her attention between the book (and her important page turning responsibility!) and dad’s face - which she swivels her head to admire with equal (if not greater) interest.
Kudos to dad, as well, as he balances book time and face time with his daughter - taking time to honor her interest in connection and observation.
The logistics can obviously be a little trickier (consider reading face-to-face as your partner holds baby in their lap as one potential solution) - but the benefits are well worth the effort.
Face-to-face reading for the win!

Some people are blessed with wonderful, supportive family. They are a living example for how the Christian body should live- helping one another, caring, loving selflessly. And it goes back and forth- grandparents blessing their children and grandchildren. Children and grandchildren blessing their parents.
But not everyone has a Christian family, not all young families have any kind of example of how to go about things, and this is where the church really needs to be stepping in.
A healthy church is one that sees members in its body that need to be invited over, need to be offered help with childcare or good old fashioned fellowship. And this isn't only for the young families. There are many elderly who are quite alone and they love for people to stop by for a quick visit (or sometimes a long visit depending upon the person 😂).
I say all of that to say, if you are attending a church, you start being the difference. Lead by example, not by what someone has done for you, but from a spirit of service. Initiate getting together with others. Love your family well, and love your church family as well. Older folk, look at the number of posts of young people crying out because of the selfishness of their parents and step in. Younger folk, look for ways you can be serving those around you and be consciencious of the behavior of your children as you do so. Be very careful not to use people, but take time to develop relationships, even if it feels awkward at first. Know that you can build a family and community in Christ and it starts with Biblical love and selflessness.
