Fair. I also reject the notion that voting in a primary is some sort of morally-binding "contract" to say you MUST vote for the eventual primary winner in the general. You may. I've certainly done so and will do so in many (most?) cases. BUT I retain the right to not.

Republican mayors Scott James Matheson of Valdosta and Julie Smith of Tifton crossed party lines for Ossoff — while supporting GOP gubernatorial nominee Rick Jackson. Former Sen. Jeff Flake endorsed him too.
Ossoff fought to protect U.S. funding for UNICEF’s peanut-based food for malnourished children overseas. Chase said that fight mattered even though the Trump administration’s cuts stood.

OK but also policy wise Vivek is far better than the Democrat alternative, right? So why not include that in the pitch?
I generally agree with most of the criticisms aimed at Vivek Ramaswamy. I also agree that Ohioans should have had a competitive primary and put someone up against him that wasn’t terminally online.
That said, these points are now moot. The time for those arguments has passed. If I were in Ohio, I’d walk into the voting booth with a clamp on my nose and vote for Vivek. You should do the same, Ohioan.

Another student loan reform would be to give the money to the student -- not the school.
This way if you hate college or drop out or flunk you can return the money and not be stuck with $90k in debt.

Cruz means that the old-school classic powers in the SEC and the Big 10 were no longer guaranteed spots in the final four. The fact that 77 US senators in a massive bipartisan vote agreed to one of the most anti-free-market pieces of legislation in recent memory is more indicative of the general corruption increasingly endemic to our society and political system than a good-faith attempt to “Save College Sports.”
College sports were headed off a cliff: endless lawsuits, no rules, and women's and Olympic sports on the chopping block.
Tonight, 77 Senators said enough.
The Protect College Sports Act passed with a massive bipartisan vote. It protects the athletes, protects the programs, and protects a great American tradition for our kids and grandkids.
Now, it goes to the House. Let's get this to President Trump's desk before Election Day, on the set of College Gameday.
Probably something to this. I will say in my experience in PCA churches where we have functional diaconates this has not been an issue.
I think I've figured it out: the pastor shortage and pastor burnout issue actually stems from a Deacon shortage.
So many churches place the burden of diaconal duty on the Pastor, thus asking a man to fulfill a role and calling he is not called to do. its a losing battle..
We need more people to understand what Deacons do, and why we need them.
(I dont assume to know the implications of this in a tradition where you are made a transitional deacon before a priest; I speak from Presbyterianism.
