In point of fact the solicitor to the Dawn Sturgess inquiry was not only the solicitor to the Hutton inquiry into the death of David Kelly, but also served in that role in the 7/7 Inquiry, the Diana crash inquiry, and the UK COVID inquiry. xitter.cf/timtron2020/status/143…
Replying to @SirClmnt @GiftToThunder
The inquiry was a cover-up, like the Hutton inquiry into the death of Dr David Kelly was (it even used the same solicitor). It didn't even speak to the sole witness to Dawn's death, an alcoholic addict whose previous girlfriend had also died in his presence two years previously.

The reality of the "independent" review telling every school in England to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism: its author, Sir David Bell, was being paid by a government agency while he wrote it, and a pro-Israel charity has listed him on its council for ten years.
The government told the public he was "independent of Government" and had "no conflict of interest". Neither is true.
What we found:
- Bell was paid £20,000 a year as vice-chair of Skills England, a government agency, in a seat the Department for Education gave him. He held it until August, through most of the review.
- The Academic Study Group on Israel and the Middle East has listed him on its council since at least 2016. Its website says its one firm policy is opposing boycotts of Israel. It gives talks on Israel in schools, which is exactly what his review was asked to judge.
- In 2005, as chief inspector of schools, he singled out Muslim schools as a challenge to "our coherence as a nation". The chairman of the Association of Muslim Schools called it Islamophobia, and his own inspectors said he had presented a personal view as inspection evidence.
Then we followed the money:
- The department's £1.3 million antisemitism training contract had one bidder, according to the tender record. It went to Palace Yard, a company set up in 2022 by the former Labour MP Natascha Engel.
- That contract says all its training must use the IHRA definition "as a foundation". It was signed eight months before Bell was appointed. His review then recommended IHRA.
- Two of the people who advised Bell, from Partnerships for Jewish Schools and the Antisemitism Policy Trust, now sit on the group putting his recommendations into practice.
- The Union of Jewish Students, also on that group, holds a contract worth almost £1 million to train universities. Its own policies include "UJS to advocate for Israel within UK Policy and International Law".
- UK Lawyers for Israel* (UKLFI) and the Campaign Against Antisemitism* (CAA) both say the review adopted their recommendations.
*For context, UKLFI once justified the starvation of Palestinians in Gaza by the Israeli occupation as "good for obesity". Both these groups have staunchly defended Israel throughout its perpetration of a genocide in Gaza, and regularly conflate Jewish people with the apartheid state.
This matters because the review decides how every school treats what pupils and teachers say about Israel, and the IHRA definition it recommends treats some criticism of Israel as antisemitic. A review with that power should come from someone with no pay from government and no tie to a pro-Israel charity. Bell had both. The government put one in a footnote and left the other out.

You can't make it up.
Sir David Bell was asked to lead the antisemitism review that was just published.
But he faced severe criticism for alleged Islamophobia for attacking faith schools when he was head of Ofsted twenty years ago.
And his new report now blithely says that Muslims disproportionately express anti-semitic views...

Around 3% of Muslim children attend full-time Islamic schools. Roughly 70% of Jewish children attend Jewish schools.
Yet only Muslims are constantly lectured about “integration”.
Funny that.

Buried on page 30 of 'Sir' David Bellend's report into antisemitism in schools in the UK it explicitly says there hasn't been a rise in antisemitism, only in anti-Israel sentiment. Astonishingly fraudulent crisis/debate, all to shield a genocidal state

In a short while, Secretary of State for Education, @LucyMPowell will present the Sir David Bell review into antisemitism in schools and colleges.
This review is billed as the 'Independent review into antisemitism in schools and colleges'.
I've spoken to a number of individuals and organisations that submitted evidence to the Bell Review when the call for views from people with relevant lived experience, knowledge or expertise of antisemitism in schools and colleges went out earlier this year.
A number of them have gotten back to me to relay their horror and dismay that the review seems overly focussed on issues such as the presence of Palestine solidarity badges and other imagery in schools rather than the multitude of clear examples where Jewish students have been targeted with antisemitic abuse, discrimination and hatred.
It appears that the review is coming down hard on expressions of Palestine solidarity while being rather light on pupils who do Hitler salutes or make jokes about Jews and money.
Having done a little research I do also have some serious concerns as to the impartiality of this review and also the recommendation that schools adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism despite it not being possible to make this compulsory, nor is it legally actionable.
If we care about tackling antisemitism in society, ensuring we get to it where it manifests in our schools and among young people, then we need to put a stop to the weaponisation of antisemitism and its use for political football where Israel-Palestine is concerned.
This review is fundamentally biased, ideological, and linked to efforts to tie Jewish identity with support for Israel while suppressing pro-Palestine expression as 'antisemitic' and intimidating for Jews.
The reality of course is that young Jews in the UK are way more intimidated and frightened by their classmates doing Hitler salutes, making jokes about the Holocaust, doing gas sounds towards them because they're Jewish, being physically assaulted for being Jewish, being bullied and isolated for being Jewish, being sexually assaulted (reports of kids demanding to see the circumcised penis of a Jewish school child in year 8), and all the other antisemitic shit that is happening in our schools.
I'm also reminded of what we learned from the documentary film @IsraelismFilm about the efforts to indoctrinate young Jews into seeing Israel as integral to their identity as Jews, that when Israel is criticised they are being personally attacked as Jews, and that they can only see themselves as Jewish if they support and love Israel.
Anyway, below are some very serious issues relating to Sir David Bell, his lack of impartiality, and the failure to declare vested interests of himself and a number of those on the reference group:
- David Bell's role as a permanent secretary at the department of education was not disclosed as a conflict of interest.
- David Bell is named on the national council of the 'National Study Group', an educational charity, that in its mission statement says that its goal is to "initiate or expand active links and research collaboration between academics, specialists and centres-of-excellence in the UK and their counterparts in Israel." The ASG is "primarily a UK-Israel operation" and rather worryingly the "only issue on which ASG has firm policy is opposition to BDS. The Charity is totally committed to the universality of knowledge and rejects any disruption to cross-national co-operation."
- The ASG, of which Sir David Bell is named as a member of national council, provides educational talks about Israel to schools.
- Executive director of the ASG, John D.A. Levy, is on the advisory board of Academic Friends of Israel and a separate charity, the friends of Israel educational foundation.
- The Friends of Israel Educational Foundation carries out hundreds of school talks in the UK.

Two years ago today, we exposed huge amounts of illegal sewage dumping in Windermere.
And still, the Environment Agency has done nothing about it.
@WindrushWasp
🚨 Breaking News 🚨
Save Windermere has once again been involved in exposing United Utilities exploitation of Windermere. Today the BBC reported that in the last 3 years, United Utilities has ILLEGALLY dumped 143,000,000 litres of untreated sewage directly into Windermere from just one of their sites — that’s thethe equivalent of 23 million toilet flushes, 1,600 double-decker buses, or enough to fill Big Ben 30 times! 💩
According to the BBC, United Utilities claims they reported these incidents at Glebe Road Pumping Station as soon as they were aware, which suggests they simply didn’t know about the instances of illegality from 2021 to September 2023, despite it being their statutory obligation to show permit compliance. The BBC estimates an additional 24 incidents that weren’t reported at the time could have cost the company £2.5 million through lower rewards or greater penalties.
You might be thinking, where’s the Environment Agency? Isn’t this their job? Well, once again, they’ve turned a blind eye. They’ve failed to ask for the data, failed to hold United Utilities accountable and failed to protect Windermere from this predatory behaviour.
We need your help to stop this 🫵

Let’s try and get this trending. Keir Starmer has often spoken about his love for the Lake District. Now it’s time for him to put his money where his mouth is and end sewage pollution in Windermere once and for all. Windermere is a symbol of our cultural heritage, a key driver of the local and national economy, and a sanctuary for rare and protected wildlife. This is a national and international disgrace, one of the country’s greatest natural treasures is being exploited by the multi-billion pound private water company. It’s time for Westminster to act.
@Keir_Starmer , it’s time to stop the sewage to Save Windermere.

We can reveal that convicted sex offender Henry Hopwood-Phillips, who admitted to taking and distributing indecent photographs of a child, was in business with Dr Lola Salem. Both wrote for The Critic, and in 2022 they set up Konstantinopolis Ltd together.
Filings show he registered it as a publishing company on 17 January 2022, at St John's College, Oxford. He held three shares, she held one. In July, its address became "PO Box Lola Salem". By 2023 they held two each.
Dr Salem denies the charge and has pleaded not guilty. The Mail reports she will argue the images were sent unsolicited and that she reported them to police. The filings show they were far closer than two writers on one magazine.
The Daily Mail quietly changed its story, with no note to readers. At 2.14pm on 13 October it said she worked with him at The Critic. By 6.38pm that line said only that both wrote for it as freelance contributors. A subtle change to create distance between the two.
The Critic has not said a word about any of this. Two days after his court date, its online editor wrote that a "conspiracy of murmuring" over grooming gangs had betrayed British children. Quite a statement, given its own silence.
The Critic is a "news" outlet that loses about £1 million a year. Jeremy Hosking keeps it open: he is the only shareholder of its publisher, Locomotive 6960 Ltd, and has paid £6.4 million since 2020 to cover the losses.
The Critic is not the only thing Hosking pays for. He has given £8.6 million to political parties and campaigns since 2005, including £4.3 million to Laurence Fox's Reclaim Party and £1.7 million to the Brexit Party and Reform UK.
Dr Salem has written 27 pieces for The Critic. Many are about music and arts. The rest are culture war, and The Critic files them that way: it tagged her "Renewing culture for the Right" with "Culture Wars" and "Immigration".
In "The French disorder", she called the police killing of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk a "violent death" that "provoked riots", under the line "France needs more realism about its social decay". Her free-to-read paragraphs never say a police officer shot him.
Jeremy Hosking pays about £1 million a year for The Critic, which demands answers on grooming gangs but has said nothing about its own writer, who admitted taking indecent photographs of a child.

Okay, I'm breaking character here. This is not a satire post. My 2-year-old son is in a wheelchair that we can't fit into our car. We are not eligible to apply for a wheelchair accessible vehicle until he is three--and even then we would have to pay about £13,000 towards it (which we don't have).
The idea that disabled people get given free cars willy-nilly is bullshit. My son has to attend regular appointments at various locations. He has a team of specialists dedicated to helping him with an extremely rare neurological condition that means he needs around the clock supervision.
He can't even hold his own head up so a regular car seat is out of the question. He was using a baby seat, but he's outgrown that. It's really tough for us to get around because misinformation from pricks like Nigel influences public opinion. Does this seem right?
