#WATCH | Pune, Maharashtra | Wife of deceased Pahalgam terror attack victim Santosh Jagdale, Pragati Jagdale says, "A year has passed, but I am still stuck on 22 April 2026 Pahalgam attack… I did not know that he was no more; I thought maybe he had passed out, but he will survive once we take him to the hospital… Our government understood our pain and carried out Operation Sindoor… I would like to urge the government to ensure that such things never happen again… After the incident, we had to go through a lot, but the government fulfilled all of their promises… The 26 families who were affected in the Pahalgam attack will never be able to get over it… I hope that they recruit more forces into the Indian army to ensure the safety of people in such places, which would also give employment to the unemployed youth of the country…”

Dehradun: Senior Superintendent of Police, Pramendra Dobhal, stated that late last night, during intensive checking in Johri village under Rajpur police station area, police received information about suspects involved in the murder of Brigadier Mukesh. Acting on the input, the police chased the accused and managed to apprehend one suspect in the forest area of Guniyal village. During the pursuit of the second accused, the suspect opened fire on the police. In self-defence, the police retaliated. During the encounter, the accused sustained a bullet injury in his leg due to police firing and was injured. He was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. A pistol was recovered from the accused at the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, senior officials reached the scene, and the field unit conducted an inspection. The SSP further informed that the arrested accused include Mohammad Kavish Hussain Tyagi, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, who was injured in the encounter, and Shantanu Tyagi, a resident of Saharanpur.
