I'm speechless… this page was literally one-shotted by Opus 5.5 🤯 fableoflegends.com
I pointed it at the game demo and asked it to “make the page look absolutely stunning and juicy” 😳 w/ no follow-ups!
BTW, you can sponsor me to get access to the demo’s source code 😋
AI is enabling me to progress on the way too many side-projects I have...
my MOBA demo is turning into a full mobile game, I'm going to use @defold for the mobile + web builds
actual gameplay recordings coming soon 🙌

Fable of Legends is a MOBA I've been working on for a few weeks... (with Fable 😜)
The game is playable at 200ms+ ping thanks to the client-side prediction tools I'm about to release on @colyseus 0.18 💜
Game assets from @KenneyNL and custom characters by @joaobaltieri 💙
⚡️ Happy to announce my side-project: netcode.io
The objective here is to provide open-source, portable and performant primitives to ultimately serve networked traffic for realtime games and apps.
It is still early but results have been promising so far!

incredible model, very cheap and fast. definitely feels like a leap forward for creating new UX/UI paradigms on top of modern language models.
Took a few hours to run these WebGPU benchmarks, so I'm sharing FYI:
🥊 PlayCanvas 🥊 Three.js 🥊 Babylon.js
- @playcanvas: the winner in performance
- @threejs: smallest + quickest to first frame
- Babylon.js: still good tech but 🥲

All benchmarks ran on my Apple M1 Pro (2021) with engine defaults - scenes built by @claudeai and sources available at github.com/endel/webgpu-webg…
Happy to be corrected by people who know these engines better than I do.
What a horror story.
Indie dev pays €3k+ for a tiny booth, then has their personal equipment (computers, consoles, etc) stolen - and the organizers say: "not our problem 🤷♂️"
Plus travel and accommodation in Germany. That’s outrageous.
We are aware of stolen hardware and take these reports very seriously and understand the frustration of affected exhibitors.
Since many requests reached us, we would like to inform about general security regulations at the event:
Uniformed guards provide general security across the venue. Individual stand security can be booked separately, and exhibitors are advised to insure equipment against theft.
This is noted in the terms and conditions of participation and the technical guidelines.
All cases have been reported to us and to the police, and investigations are already underway.
We also want to ensure that the reported cases are individual cases, which we are very sorry to read.
Because security has one of the highest priorities to us as an event and to see that indie developers are affected makes us very sad. At an event of this size, however, there will always be individuals attempting to take advantage of the situation.
Our security measures are designed to minimize such risks as effectively as possible.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
While Gamescom frames these thefts as isolated incidents, investigations into the event's security providers have revealed significant vulnerabilities. A WDR investigation found that one-third of the security guards checked had violations, including missing IDs. www1.wdr.de/nachrichten/rh…
My #gamescom cut short. Our equipment was stolen last night from the booth.
Police reports have been filed.
At a loss for words to describe the feeling. Just defeated. Gonna do my best with what's left of the week.
But a huge blow financially and mentally
What a great read @0xGuavaGuy! Congrats! 👏
SuperTripLand (@SuperTrip64) is probably the 1st game in the world running on WebTransport!
