And just like that, my time with @SWWStudiesEdin is over 😢 This job has been an absolute blast, and I've been so incredibly lucky work with such wonderful people for the past 2 years. I'm so proud to have been a small part of the network, and here's to its continued success! 🏴
Also, if you ever have the opportunity to work with @wugolini and @tobiaswkelly then you need to seize it with both hands. They are exceptionally thoughtful and generous colleagues, highly impressive academics, and utterly lovely people. 11/10 would recommend. 🤩

And see if you can connect these sites with our @CWGC commemorations in Edinburgh as well
It’s live!! 🤩 if you’re in Edinburgh, make sure to check out the @SWWStudiesEdin mobile walking tour ‘Second World War Edinburgh’. It’s free, and you’ll discover so much about the city and SWW.
I may be biased, but I’d highly recommend! 🚶♀️🏴
Proud to announce the launch of our @SWWStudiesEdin mobile walking tour, 'Second World War Edinburgh'. Funded by @RoyalSocEd & developed by the wonderful team @curiousedi the app highlights sites of #SWW interest in the city:

Stunning few days down south, and I’m leaving with a full heart ❤️ the @NPGLondon will forever be my favourite (and the refurb is a-may-zing!! Both the building and the collection on display!) and #DIVA @V_and_A blew my mind as every exhibition there always does! Heavenly trip.
Absolute dream of a day at @Wimbledon! Watching the ladies singles final on Henman Hill is something I’ll never forget. Cheering for Ons Jabeur with other people (and not me alone shouting at my tv!) was such a delight. What. A. Day. 🍓🎾

Continuing my birthday sunrise tradition - this time at my (favourite) bridge 🏴
(If you share a name with a bridge, you can say it’s yours, right?) – at South Queensferry, Scotland
My notifications have gone a bit nuts... feeling a little (very) overwhelmed by the love ❤️ what an excellent conference, and how lucky am I to have met such lovely people?!

For those unfamiliar with the Scots language, the pic shows someone who is drookit
We’ve had an incredible tour this morning by @pgkepfidra at Comely Bank Cemetery. Such fascinating stories and the best way to end the #FromPersonalToGlobal weekend! @SWWStudiesEdin @SWWresearch – at Edinburgh, Scotland
And of course I jinxed everything by mentioning the weather yesterday… thank goodness for restorative post-tour cake at @mimisbakehouse for @wugolini @pgkepfidra @MMoffski and @HistoryWordgirl after drowning in a (I promise, worse than normal) Edinburgh downpour. 🙃 – at Edinburgh, Scotland
It's a beautiful day in Edinburgh and we have day 2 of #FromPersonalToGlobal 🤩

And just like that it’s all over 😔 thank you everyone for coming and for such stimulating discussions over the past two days! 🤩 #FromPersonalToGlobal @SWWStudiesEdin @SWWresearch
