Fascinating to watch the rotation of data trust/skepticism.
For most of the past 6 months, oil bulls have been pointing to persistently weak tanker-inferred Hormuz flow data and bears were like “missing so muck dark, tanker data useless now, duh”
Now it’s bears pointing to rising tanker-inferred data and bulls decrying “no data can be trusted it’s all fake”
Reminder that the relative perceived trustworthiness of a given data source is almost entirely driven by the degree to which it confirms the observer’s priors.

All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.

5-7 years for Pickering nuclear power to be down for rebuild.
spoke to my nuclear power experts who said the pressure tube replacement requirement on units 1-4 has been well known.
but the boilers replacement is a surprise and wonder if this why more like 7 years than 4 or 5 years.
this is 2,300 megawatts or enough to power 2.2 million homes
ontario says natural gas will be the replacement.
