What @Polymarket gets wrong here is that these elections most likely will result in new ones, with no one able to form a government. However, do not despair; Eisenkot is rightly slotted as the strongest candidate, with a very narrow path to victory.

A great step would be to give the bases, but maintaining their hold of those bases means maintaining sublimal control in a region they've caused much devastation. #Cyprus

Today someone complained about all the Arabs/Foreigners in London saying they should go back to their countries #Cyprus too adding "sorry ha" to me. Bemused I calmly smiled saying I was Cypriot & also a British Citizen. Let people talk, they'll show you who they are.

For reasons I can’t explain, I took off my ballistic helmet before the attack on Abu Falah and left it under a tree. After, a young Palestinian approached me, smiling, wearing it. He handed it back and pointed to a deep white nick. A large stone had hit him square in the helmet.

Well coordinated series of protests? Looting isn't part of a protest demanding improved education, cost living and housing issues. Looters are simply taking advantage of situations. A few could be mercenaries disguised as students/ looters 'performing' roles as requested.
JUST IN: 🇮🇹 Violent protests spread to Italy as well. In the city of Milan, Italy, protesters have begun looting stores.

To fix the abysmal situation in Makariou isn't too difficult. A balanced zoning study, with a good shop mix and eateries. If rents are too high, the shops will remain empty. Greed is most often the precursor of failed zoning of projects. #Cyprus #Nicosia

I was on a flight to Israel and struck up a conversation with the lady beside me. She was Jewish; her family were Holocaust survivors. As we saw the coastline of Israel from the window, she burst into tears. It was her first time visiting. Tell me again how Jews have no connection to the land of Israel.
