Well, damn. First time I’ve ever not gotten a new iPhone on day 1 as checkout times kept reporting not available while purchasing. So much for the grand plan of extending a trip to NYC culminating in a 5th avenue store pickup :(
The new Device Preview system is quite cool, and the asset library system is incredibly useful. Really big wins this year for ASC, great to see it getting some love, finally.
Pro tip: upload to Asset Library then select the assets when setting screenshots.
Hiding Easter eggs in apps for 15+ years now.

Huge improvement to the Shortcuts app in the 27.2 beta, it works with third party shortcuts now!

Apple has fixed the issue affecting “Describe a Shortcut” in macOS 27.2 beta 1. With the feature flag enabled, you can now generate shortcuts using actions from third-party apps.

iPhone Duo workshop schedules are posted! Hope to see some great indies there! (and there are even some in Miami which I think is a first? but I'm impatient, and have miles to spare...)
⚠️ Buying a Duo and wanting to try the 27.2 beta? You almost certainly won’t be able to transfer your data to the new phone, as the Duo OS (27.1) would be < your OS and Apple prevents that path.
Hopefully that helps avoid a lot of extra work next month…
