Because I'm not going to repeat this shit another three times: In 2003-04, my company joined forces with First National Bank and Blizzard to create the World of Warcraft Visa cards. We visited the Blizzard offices and my first encounter with Mark Kern was him saying the N-word.🧵

Oh, they care about Paladins as PCs until I make them play like real paladins. Which makes it virtually impossible to have any fun when you tithe constantly, can't upgrade your gear without approval, can't level up without approval and really can't be in a party with anyone else.

But they won't do it. You know why? Because people don't care about "Champions", they care about PALADINS. (+)

If a religious order needed a diverse group of people to do a mission for them that might run into distractions and might need to be creative in their solution, the best bet wpuld be to hire a group of adventurers and embed a cleric in their midst instead of a paladin.

Paladins are basically foot soldiers and cannon fodder in religious wars and crusades. Unless your campaign revolves around everyone playing a paladin of the same order all chanting the same battle hymns or scriptures while fighting a war, there's literally no reason to play one.

The guy has everything a man could ask for. A wife. A family. A roof over his head. Pizza, for Christ's sake. I'm pretty sure they told him happy birthday and appreciate him. To expect something big every birthday is a little greedy and narcissistic. He's got a lot - enjoy that.
A lot of men live like this, but nobody calls it abuse.

No huge celebration. No overshadowing my friend's anniversary performance. Just a toast to my survival to 40 years old. That was enough. I had a wife, a child, a house, a car, a job. Nothing really tops any of that. I had what I needed, and birthdays go by quickly.

It's not abuse if you don't get a huge birthday. There's worse things out there. Divorce and taking the kids for being an ungrateful prick is one of them. Be glad they love you. Be glad you have each other. Be glad you're still alive in this world.

Man, I give myself 90 minutes a day, if not less. I just check my friends and replies, and maybe the top 10 posts. Which is why I quote weird posts sometimes. LOL

I’ll probably stay off here as I’m feeling so much better doing so. Definitely recommend.

I'm going to ask for $200 a minute for using my idle local hardware. I'm serious, too. It's that or you give me unlimited AI time for using MY PC. Otherwise, get bent. No cash, no cache.
Idle DRAM sitting in millions of computers is exactly why we need P2P inference. Share the hardware, not just the models. If the problem is local hardware sitting idle 95% of the time, the answer isn’t “send everything to the cloud.” It’s P2P inference: pool idle GPUs and RAM across people.

It's kind of crazy that we can get Gene Park to confirm that he's still alive and well like a few hours after his account got hacked, but we couldn't confirm if Mitch McConnell was alive and well after reports of ambulances at his home for several months. Glad you're okay, Gene.
it's me. i've also revoked access to the offending calendar app so fingers crossed that's the end of it.

Yeah, it's not just some dumb prank when you ask over and over to be left alone and the person recording keeps fucking bugging you. It's not a prank after that. It's not even good content. That's literal harassment. Stop fucking with people you don't know in Wal-Mart, assholes.
Am I alone in thinking it’s obscene this guy is getting worldwide acclaim & has had life-changing $ raised for this reaction? The prank is annoying. The frustration is fair. The reaction is totally disproportionate nearly having a mental breakdown over a kid trying a dumb prank. Neither party looks good in this. Am I wrong?

Of course. He checks out. Has an American Flag and a Christian Cross on their profile, but is a total worthless asshole on Twitter. Good job. You upheld the stereotype.
Patrick Stewart has passed due to TDS at age 86:

Cut off? Ask your Mormon friends how that goes. Apparently, Jesus appeared to the Native American tribes after his resurrection/ascension. He tried to covert them. Way before Columbus showed up. I think the discovery of America just proves that early missionaries were abusive.
"The discovery of America debunks Christianity" No. It buries atheism. Think about it. When Columbus landed, he found a people CUT OFF from the rest of humanity for 10,000+ years. No Bible. No Jesus. No Moses. No Buddha. No Muhammad. No Torah. No Vedas. If religion is just cultural brainwashing, these people should be pure atheists. What did he find? Temples. Altars. Priests. Sacrifice. Prayer. A Great Spirit. A Creator. Judgment. Afterlife. Every. Single. Time. In the Americas. In Australia. In the Pacific Islands. In the Amazon. Isolated humans, same conclusion: WE ARE NOT ALONE. THERE IS SOMEONE ABOVE US. That's not indoctrination. That's observation. You don't teach every isolated tribe to invent eyes. They invent eyes because light exists. Humanity didn't invent God. Humanity discovered Him.

I'll give you a legitimate reason why people don't like Ken Paxton, Tom. He surrounds himself in scandals. He doesn't avoid them, he doesn't watch out for them. What he does do is let them fester and then go "OH NO I DIDN'T DO THAT," with a smirk. Asshole behavior.
Ken Paxton is not corrupt! He (and we) are the victim of the most vicious Alinsky Big Lie/lawfare assault, FALSELY ACCUSING PAXTON of corruption. Every one of the examples cited in ads for Talafreako are lies or just ridiculous, made up spins. The destructive, socialist Dems and the establishment including Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Auto, etc. that cannot control @KenPaxtonTX HATE him, and are willing to use any lie necessary to stop him. The reality of this race is that it is between Commie Crazy (Talafreako) and Courageous Common-Sense Competence (Paxton). The establishment and the left seek to turn it into Crazy v Corruption in an attempt to suppress the votes of those who have voted for Trump and Republicans in the past. Independents and Republicans, don't be a victim of this psyop designed to demoralize and suppress or flip your vote! Actually compare Ken Paxton's fantastic record of common sense protection of Texans from big corporations and the left against Talafreako's record of voting, speaking and advocating against border security, stopping crime, fiscal sanity, and protecting our children from sexualization, mutilation, and indoctrination. Then go vote FOR Paxton's courageous, tenacious, record and vision for Texas and AGAINST the woke, crazy, heretical, commie record of Talafreako.

And I think he does it because he wants to be like Donald Trump. Dredge up all the attention - good or bad - and then try to play it all of with a bad boy attitude. Ken Paxton is bad at it, and he needs to stop if he wants to stay in politics. Stick to the avoidance strategy.

You know, as a DJ, I've seen people try this on bartenders, bouncers, etc. They go up, start recording with their Google glasses, and start causing shit. It's cringe, man. Your content creation is super fucking embarrassing. And you lose viewers faster than anyone else, too.
These entitled pranksters are completely out of f**king control

The bigger point I think we should note is that he said AI should be a corporate data center thing, and not something people should be using locally on their own machines. He wants to take your RAM and make you pay him for using it to make AI stuff. I warned you guys.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

Am I very sad about Patrick Stewart dying? Absolutely. I was very sad when Prince, David Bowie and Leonard Nimoy died. I was sad when Robin Williams and Stan Lee died. Carrie Fisher, Alan Rickman, Tim Curry, Dolly Parton - very sad. As you age, your favorite people will die.

My wife's parents are both gone - died just in the last 5 years one right after the other. A good DJ friend of mine died of an overdose 7 years ago. A young man I adopted from my previous marriage died at 22 from COVID. I've lost a lot of family. It happens eventually.

When I die, I would like my wake to be an EDM rave where everyone dances to positive music and shares a lot of stories over food (and maybe alcohol). I would like to be remembered by surviving friends and family. Maybe by my favorite artist's streaming chat. LOL
