More than racing. This one is personal. I’m fortunate to live in two worlds that mean a lot to me—as a firefighter and as the driver of an NHRA Funny Car. No matter which uniform I’m wearing, I’ll always have a tremendous amount of respect for the men and women who answer the call every single day. It was an honor to welcome members of Madison Fire-Rescue into our pit and give them a look inside my other world. Recognizing first responders isn’t just something we do at the racetrack. It’s a big part of why I race and what I want this program to represent. To my fellow firefighters, first responders and their families: this racing campaign is for you. Thank you for answering the call. #MadisonFireRescue #FirstResponders #ChrisKingRacing #NHRA #MidwestNats
