I was on a San Francisco jury where they wanted to acquit a repeat offender who burglarized an apartment garage. They kept saying they weren’t convinced 100% and I had to explain it was beyond a REASONABLE doubt not ANY doubt. I convinced the other 11 and he was found guilty, but had I not refused to vote NOT guilty and held up their weekend, he would have been set free.
