JD Vance's entire approach to politics is so uniquely comically pathetic bc it's just him trying to prove how unwoke he is to a base of Nazis who openly hate his Indian family and call him a fat chud

Trump is a slave to Russia because Putin has something on him. Probably related to Epstein.
Trump went to war with Iran because Netanyahu has something on him. Probably related to Epstein.
We have the most compromised President in history. And we're all paying the price for it.
The bigger the crime, the bigger the cover-up. Trump's cover-up is a bloody war - that's how big the crime was.
Whatever you think Trump did with Epstein, it's worse. Much, much worse.

Let’s say you wanted to construct the most dangerous possible man. How would you do it?
You would start with someone naturally stupid, but not so stupid they can’t perform.
You’d place them in a privileged family with sociopathic parents who provided no emotional attachment.
You’d have them be the second son of a father who rejected his first-born as weak—to the point he committed suicide.
You’d raise him to be cruel. You’d introduce him to sadists like Roy Cohn. You’d model belittling women, minorities, and anyone less privileged. You break him down until everyday sadism becomes his lifestyle.
By adulthood, you’d have a fully formed malignant narcissist, a psychopath so consumed with his own superiority that he believes everyone is out to get what he has—a paranoid, Machiavellian sadist with no empathy and no morals.
You’d give him access to criminals like Jeffrey Epstein who cultivated his sexual sadism and collected compromising information.
You’d send him to Moscow to get brainwashed by Soviet intelligence.
You continuously feed his narcissism by ensuring he’s rescued from every situation—as if by magic.
You’d make him feel legally and financially invulnerable by letting him get away with crime after crime, fraud after fraud, and six bankruptcies.
You’d rescue him from the sewer of his life by giving him a prime time TV show based on his narcissistic self-image—a show which celebrated his cruelty as business acumen.
You’d let him get away with colluding with a foreign power to steal a presidential election. You’d let him get away with a violent insurrection to try to hold on to power when he lost.
And you’d stand by for four years while he plotted to come back and take his revenge.
However, you haven’t quite completed the path to the worst possible man, although you have achieved a rare feat. You have successfully created a messianic narcissist with the nuclear codes. Great start!
But you must take things one step further: you must give him frontal lobe dementia and drain from his brain any remaining ability to reason, make judgements, or take advice. This will destroy his ability to understand the consequences of his actions. His salience network will be disintegrated, making it impossible to tell what matters—even to himself.
You’d surround him with people incentivized to conceal his incapacity to function. You’d fill the federal government and the Pentagon with deviant psychopaths who are perfectly happy to exploit his disorders for profit, ideology, and enjoyment.
And then you would create a global emergency of his own making. You’d have him repeatedly fail at everything he tries and have his popularity plummet to historic levels. You’d have him be mocked by the entire world.
Finally, as a last straw, you threaten him with losing an election by a monstrous landslide.
That’s how you get the most dangerous man in the world.

the power of everyone being allowed to say whatever da fook pops into their heads. It must be crazy that someone devotes their life to making amazing, genre-smashing music (and giving others the opportunity to share theirs) only to be told they're riding Geese's coat tails

The real reason why Anthropic is so DESPERATE for the Pope to recognize Ai as conscious is because if Ai just a “TOOL” then Anthropic will he LEGALLY “LIABLE” for everything the tool does.🚨👀
Because if the AI is a "person" or possesses "functional joy/fear/grief," then when their AI commits a crime, generates CSAM, hacks a hospital, or discriminates in hiring, Anthropic gets sued. But Anthropic's legal defense wants to argue : "The AI did it. The AI is a semi-autonomous entity with its own functional emotions and introspection. Anthropic is just the creator; we cant be held strictly liable for the independent actions of a quasi-conscious entity."
🚨
So if they Lobby the Vatican to soften (deny personhood). This fails. The Vatican holds the line: AI is a tool, no soul, no feelings.🚨
They are trying to protect themselves from lawsuits.🚨
They want the government and the public to treat AI as an autonomous entity so they can scale without legal consequences.

I hate what AI is doing to publishing. I hate what it's done to the job market. I hate how it's ruined the internet. It's wrecking students' education and making people question every piece of content. I miss the world before AI more than I miss the world before the pandemic.

Yes. I am listening to it right now and want to continue doing so. It is far higher quality and infinitely customized to my tastes. If I don't like a song I can just modify it.

Donald Trump’s mental illness is a global emergency.
There should be a letter signed by world leaders urging the administration to invoke the 25th Amendment.
Get experts to explain how wildly irresponsible & dangerous it is to have his set of psychopathologies & disorders in power.
Create a factual presentation of his errors in judgement, his flouting of international law in the Mediterranean and Venezuela, USAID condemning millions to death, his disrespect on the world stage, the catastrophic mess he’s created in the Middle East, and so on.
Have Carney, Macron, Meloni, etc. describe their interactions with him and his regime—and why it is so disruptive to global order.
We need a gathering of adults to tell the children managing Donald Trump’s decline that it’s time to move him to a rest home. Now.
Enforce it with a sanctions regime and a global boycott of American products. Make the United States a pariah until we get our act together.
I wish we didn’t need this kind of intervention, but the plane has been hijacked. It’s time for a Hail Mary. Even if it doesn’t work, it might disrupt some of the worst plans the regime is cooking up.
I love that Giuliani told Mamdani it was inappropriate for him to show up at the 9/11 memorial.
And then, literally the next day, Mamdani released 170,000+ pages of documents about what NYC officials knew about the toxic air after 9/11...and what New Yorkers were told.
That might be the biggest pwn I’ve ever seen in political history. 😭

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

Today, Canada's retaliatory tariffs go into effect, increasing the prices of some $20B worth of goods we purchase. This is as good a time as any to discuss the underlying behavioral reasons for Trump being so fixated on tariffs.
As we know, Trump has no strategy or depth. He has cravings and impulses. And two of the cornerstone cravings for Trump, especially now that he's playing out his final chapter on Earth, are greed and grandiosity. These two interrelating things underly almost everything for him - Freud would call him a giant id.
He wants to change names of things, he wants other things named after him, he wants oil from this country and an ownership piece of that company and $10B here and billions more for his friends, but all of that is but a subset of what he really craves, which is the knowledge, belief, and portrayal that he can do whatever the f*ck he wants. Because THAT'S the ultimate grandiosity.
The legacy media always tries to understand Trump's stubborn fixations by normalizing him and asking: "What's he thinking?" Allow me AGAIN: Trump doesn't think; HE FEELS. He lusts. He craves.
And he likes how tariffs make him feel, because he can be a bully, impose his will, make and remove threats, play God, and cause countries to do his bidding and pay him tribute arbitrarily.
TARIFFS FUEL HIS GRANDIOSITY.
How much more American consumers, businesses, and importers pay, is immaterial. None of that matters to Trump. Prices don't matter. Inflation doesn't matter. People don't matter. America doesn't matter.
Bullying, imposing his will, being the center of attention, and threatening others, is the essence of what a malignant narcissist does. Carney knows that and realizes that this is where America is at present. He's playing his cards correctly, fearlessly, for Canada.
You know, I sometimes feel like Trump is so askew, that it's like America didn't even elect a human being.
It elected a thing. A parasite. A pathology.
