Here's a near-universal law derived from 46 years of seeing live music: The worse the opening band, the longer they play and the more entitled they seem.
(Or maybe their shittiness just makes it ~feel~ like their sets are longer...)
Not a hill I'm willing to die on, but I will sustain major injuries for it. I mean, listen to the 1-2 deep-cut punch of "White Wall"/"Black Eyed Girl." And that's before we even get into "2+2=?" and the title track + those early 45s.
FOR SALE
Omar Souleyman- Haflat Gharbia: The Western Concerts [2011, Sublime Frequencies 2xLP]
Small punch hole in lower left corner.
VG+/VG+; $28 shipped.
Garage-rock Steve Reich evolving into a radiant, Rhys Chatham-esque orchestra is such a badass idea.

I don't recall My Bloody Valentine ever saying one word to the crowd the last 4 or 5 times I've seen them... maybe ever, dating back to Detroit and Toronto ca. 1989. They never felt the need to ask “How ya doin', [city]?” or even to mutter a “Thanks.” And I respect them for that.
My first favorite Hüsker Dü song... still moves me 43 years later. Grant Hart forever.

It's going to be funny to see the faces of people who ask me in loud clubs what I've been digging lately and I tell them "that new On The Ifness album by dudes from Pissed Jeans and Geo Rip." @ppmrecords

JD Vance's entire approach to politics is so uniquely comically pathetic bc it's just him trying to prove how unwoke he is to a base of Nazis who openly hate his Indian family and call him a fat chud
This looks almost too good to be true.
#NowPlaying Another previously unreleased Don Cherry set coming our way, and I might dig it even more: Don Cherry, Leon Thomas, and sitar and tabla player Collin Walcott in their only documented performance together at Pease Auditorium in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1977.
Reviewed new albums by Faith Coloccia & Tashi Dorji and Built To Spill bassist Melanie Radford for The Stranger.

"Imagine an even more whiskey soaked Dean Martin walking out of the cinema after watching a David Lunch marathon." [sic]
Bring back proofreading.
All “For your GRAMMY consideration...” emails get instantly deleted. I don't have time for that nonsense.

Trump is a slave to Russia because Putin has something on him. Probably related to Epstein.
Trump went to war with Iran because Netanyahu has something on him. Probably related to Epstein.
We have the most compromised President in history. And we're all paying the price for it.
The bigger the crime, the bigger the cover-up. Trump's cover-up is a bloody war - that's how big the crime was.
Whatever you think Trump did with Epstein, it's worse. Much, much worse.
