Chest Xray interpretation with AI algorithms for TB detection in children is promising. But the need to improve performance in this unique population can not be overstated.

I would certainly add the need for non-invasive pediatric friendly samples for TB testing in this population.
Children diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis are at an increased risk of poor lung function and reduced height and weight later in childhood. #Pediatric #TB is a serious health concern, but with early detection and treatment, every child has the chance to live a healthy life.
