Big congrats to @thazhmon and @jeeves_inc on their new round. You guys are crushing it and are incredibly hard working. Its been a privilege to have invested - thanks for your team's efforts.
Excited to announce our $110M raise to scale our stablecoin-native banking platform for global enterprises across 35 countries (10 new countries!) 🚀🦁 Our stablecoin business crossed $1.5B annualized volume in just 8 months, driven by exponential enterprise demand. Since signing the Series C-1 term sheet, revenue has grown more than 50% in a few months. The pace is accelerating. As we go deeper into the stablecoin ecosystem, I'm pumped to have @coinfund lead the round, joined by @AB_insights, @a16z, @cbventures, @CRV, GIC, @gpt, @paraficapital, Vista, @wmt_ventures, @ycombinator and others. Also grateful to have the best founders building in the space joining the round: @zcabrams (Bridge, OUSD), @psneville (Circle, Catena), @sternhenri (Privy), @prabhakar2reddy & @karan705 (OpenFX), @SamBroner (Better Money Co.) and Ricardo Marino (Global Chairman at Itaú), among others. Over the last year, AI & stablecoins have powered us to an inflection point. Today, we have fewer employees than we did two years ago, while revenue and volume have grown more than 10x crossing $5B in annualized TPV. AI is embedded across Jeeves and has fundamentally changed how we build and operate. Alongside the round, we're launching: 💸 Jeeves stablecoin wallets: Our custom built wallets supporting USDC and USDT, with payouts to 190 countries, all in one platform. 💳 Cards in 10 more countries: Argentina, Peru, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Guatemala and others. The same award winning expense management platform used by BMW, Burger King and H&M are now available in these markets. 🧾 Accounts Receivable (AR): Alongside our core Cards and AP modules, we're launching our AR module, starting with Brazil 🇧🇷 This was one of the biggest customer requests! 📊 Jeeves Global AI Spend Tracker: We all know AI spend is growing but if you operate in six countries, with Claude spend in pesos & OpenAI spend in pounds, how do you actually know what you spent across models, countries, currencies & what drives ROI? Well now you do with our Global AI spend tracker across the globe 🌎 🇪🇸 Lastly, we opened our doors in Madrid to accelerate our expansion across EMEA, with a focus on stablecoin payment corridors between Europe & the world. The next decade of global banking will be agentic and seamless between stablecoin and fiat. To build this companies need to own the primitives directly. This chapter is being written right now, and small teams with big ambition, powered by AI and stablecoins, will write it. We intend to be the company that defines it 🌎 Thank you to our customers, teammates and investors for the trust you put in us every day 🙏 If you want to shape the future of global money at the cutting edge of stablecoins and AI, come build it with us. It won't be easy but it will be fun 👉 tryjeeves.com/us/about-us Day one of this next chapter starts now. It's time to build.

Take a look at the demo of this latest research breakthrough from @tavus. I'm very proud of them - it's been a joy being a small part of their journey from their seed round.
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

I agree with Dario's perspective on this, and it's the best plan I've heard so-far. Some things to note- * Dario's plan is practical -- it advocates for a decentralized private industry of indpendent validators, which are not slow-moving but rather are efficient private companies. * His plan acknowledges the challenges of global coordination, but proposes a stepwise approach towards it, beginning with the most practical steps. * It's well-known that Dario had concerns about safety from the very beginning when he left OpenAI for Anthropic. The arguments being used today that he's trying to protect his moat with regulatory capture are rebuked by his consistent, original motivations -- which occurred prior to him having any market lead at all. * Dario also owns less than 2% of Anthropic, which is highly unusual for a founder/CEO. Yes, a lot of this was dilution, but it was also him sharing the pie with his team. This is not a personality character trait that's synonymous with maximizing upside and protecting economics. * The attacks against Dario revolve around him suffocating open-source so that the large and well-funded AI labs can protect their moats. But the reality is that open-source AI is most feasible by a large and well-funded organization. It takes an enormous amount of (A) compute and (B) paying for private data to train a general-purpose model. This is prohibitively expensive for independent developers. This is what makes open-source AI different than traditional open-source software. So this isn't really a david vs goliath situation. The organizations that have the financial capabilities to build a sophisticated model that compete directly with Anthropic would largely have resources to jump through the same safety hoops as Anthropic. Think about the large and valuable open-source AI models in recent years -- e.g. Llama, Mistral, and now NVIDIA -- are large and valuable companies with resources. The Chinese OSS models have also raised billions. * It's not possible to fully prove / disprove whether there's a real catastrophic risk to the world from AI. But the consequences of that catastrophy are so grave that it's irresponsible to ignore. It's easy to laugh at this and call it doomerism when that argument can't be disproven until its too late.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. Check out this innovation from @HandoffAI .. a vertical-specific AI model for the construction industry that can read and understand construction drawings *better* than a human can. Remarkable achievement and a pattern other industries can learn from.
Today, we are announcing H1. H1 is a model developed by @HandoffAI that performs autonomous construction takeoffs at the level of a human estimator. This is an incredible accomplishment for our team that has been in the works since we started the company in 2019. I also believe that this is a monumental step forward for the construction industry as a whole. Why does this matter? Until now, reading a set of construction drawings and extracting a detailed understanding of how to build a project required a human. That is what a takeoff is. H1 automates this process entirely, meaning that any construction drawing can now become machine-readable. With a single API call, you can accurately extract all of the characteristics of a building, including detailed material quantities down to every single stud and nail. Combined with Handoff’s existing AI estimating models and live construction cost data, this also means that every construction drawing can become an accurate construction budget, with materials that can be purchased directly through our supplier partners in just a few clicks. From the early days of Handoff, we said that we were codifying the language of buildings and developing an abstraction layer that would enable anyone to interact with construction blueprints as if they were structured data. This is no longer a demo. H1 is available to thousands of construction companies on the Handoff platform, as well as at thousands of Pro Desk locations across every US state. In addition to announcing our model, we’re publishing a research paper that describes how we built it. We’re also open-sourcing the benchmark we use to validate that Handoff outperforms every foundation model, as well as human estimators, on a set of permissioned construction blueprints. If you are a construction supplier or an enterprise looking to integrate AI takeoffs into your systems, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and we’ll set you up with access. Let’s build something great.

Really excited to see this. @jalehr is a badass entrepreneur and her resilience and vision have been extremely impressive.
We raised $72M from Sequoia/YC and hit 8-figures in ARR. Then we shut it all down & rebuilt the company from scratch. Today we’re launching the new Mutiny: the first AI agent for GTM teams to create anything customer-facing, in minutes. Comment "Mutiny" to get 3X free credits.

Watching Slope grow from the early days to now working with Amazon has been really exciting. The team has been relentlessly focused on execution and meeting real customer needs with fintech innovation. Great coverage from CNBC below.
When Slope founders Alice & Lawrence came up with the idea in 2021, @amazon was the dream partner. Four years later, that dream is reality. Thank you @CNBC and @business for covering!

Check out the video below - Tavus.io pushing the boundaries of AI human-computer interaction. Super excited for their $40m Series B from CRV, Scale Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and others. [disclosure: I'm a seed investor]
The interface of the future is human. We’ve raised a $40M Series B from CRV, Scale, Sequoia, and YC to teach machines the art of being human, so that using a computer feels like talking to a friend or a coworker. And today, I’m excited for y’all to meet the PALs: a new human-computing interface. PALs are emotionally intelligent, multimodal, and capable of understanding and perceiving. They can see, hear, reason, and even look like us. We’re releasing our 5 favorite PALs to start. Each PAL has its own distinct personality- from AI assistants to best friends. PALs: - Meet us where we are. Face-to-face over video call, on the phone, or even by text. - Are always thinking. They’re proactive, reach out first, remind you about what you forgot, or might just check in on you. - Understand us, finally. PALs can see us, understand our tone, emotion, and intent, and communicate in ways that feel more human. - Evolve with you. PALs have advanced memory, remember your preferences and needs, and adapt themselves over time. - Are capable. PALs can handle complex tasks — from responding to your emails to moving your schedule around to creating docs and doing research for you. Science fiction promised us a new human-computer interface, beyond the GUIs of yesterday, a human-like interface that would feel second-nature to use. That future never came, until now. Charlie’s story brings this idea to life. We’re excited for you to meet Charlie and his PALs for free at tavus.io Enjoy the film 👇

Congrats to Deel on their latest financing round. The hustle and work ethic of these founders was palpable way back when I joined their seed round, and they still have that level of energy today. Nicely done.
Deel has raised $300M at a $17.3B valuation We started about 6 years ago, struggling to even make $10K. I've never shared this before because of how embarrassing our start was. The story of how we went from $1K to $1B and the advice I'd give to my younger self:
