Every tech person I know has said for years that AI is unlike any past tech shift/revolution -- exponentially more powerful/impactful. Thus the old fallback paradigms of "regulatory capture" and "antitrust" and more (on all sides) don't really apply. Novel frameworks needed for novel tech.

“Well you see, honey, there were some employees at OpenAI who worried about the AI taking over, so they built a thing called Claude. Then another guy made a thing called Clawdbot, and Claude made him rename it to Moltbot. Then someone made a website called Moltbook for the Moltbots to talk to each other, tho it’s more like Moltreddit. And yeah anyway it’s funny or maybe really bad who knows lol”

I think capitalism far superior to socialism, and free markets with a welfare state and some regulation far superior to a government-run economy with limited room for freedom. But if capitalists side with authoritarians--better social democracy than corporatist authoritarianism.

For some reason, @united reaching out to minorities to be pilots has become controversial. An airline pilot can make quite a nice living, and the airlines need pilots. Giving kids, particularly in the inner-city, hope and opportunity seems like a really good thing to me.

Just a truly remarkable campaign moment, this @GovChristie speech. I’ve covered so many presidential candidates who put ego above everything. This is an incredibly rare moment when that is not the case.

People who don’t read books, barely ever read research papers, never published peer reviewed work, and/or stepped foot inside a research lab to do experiments and engage in the process of scientific discovery…think all of academia is a farce, and we should just tweet all day. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Radio silence from me because I have years of law enforcement experience fighting terrorists and crime and you do not. You jump to the conclusion it is terrorism without any definitive proof. This is why your judgment is so flawed and you’d be such an awful President. Here’s a hint for you: wait for the evidence and then make judgments. That’s what any experienced leader would do.
One month ago, @GovChristie ridiculed me for demanding more security on the Northern Border: “I don’t think you’ve heard anyone who knows anything ask for that.” Well, it’s radio silence from him today. The bipartisan establishment is filled with these clowns & it’s pathetic.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Gov. Kathy Hochul states there is “no indication that this is a terrorist attack,” undermining both the “safety” thesis of Ramaswamy’s argument, while invalidating the point of the tweet. Also, the vehicle lost control on the U.S. side of the border, not the other way around. x.com/charlie_report…

Now more than ever, we must emphasize the importance of separating people from governments. Antisemitism is disgusting and unacceptable. We have a responsibility to defend our Jewish brothers, sisters, and siblings from hatred. No movement of integrity should tolerate it. Ever.

Tonight, America says clearly to the Israeli people, to the world, and to terrorists everywhere that we stand with Israel. That will never change.

We have data very clearly proving that Russia is interested in inciting war in the Middle East. So that a new source of pain and suffering would erode global unity and exacerbate cleavages and controversies, helping Russia in destroying freedom in Europe. We can see Russian propagandists gloating. We can see Moscow’s Iranian friends openly extending a helping hand to those who attacked Israel. All of this represents a much greater threat than the world is currently aware of. The world wars of the past were triggered by local aggressions. We know how to counter this threat. We have already prepared the necessary steps. And our primary goal is to protect the need for maximum global unity.

The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen. For nearly three years now, anyone with evidence of fraud has failed to come forward - under oath - and prove anything in a court of law. Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.
