The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria is routinely ignored. The crimes committed here cry to heaven for justice.

Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo cries as he has to bury another 7 Nigerian Christians murdered by Islamist Fulani militias.
International mainstream media wasn’t there for the funeral. Again…

It’s actually crazy how you grow up thinking home-cooked meals every day are just normal, then get older and realise how much time and effort it took your Mom to make that happen and how lucky you were to have that.

Every time I see a clip of Rev. Dachuma, he is lamenting at the grave of his people. It really puts things in perspective for me in so many ways.
What an example of perseverance in trials, and faithfulness in hardship!

EZEQUIEL DACHOMO! 🙏

Shocked that many people are not aware of this.
Henceforth, I'll be writing more on the atrocities happening in the North under this government that the media are not even reporting.
I still remember the pregnant woman who was kidnapped by bandits and gave birth to twins prematurely in captivity.
The bandit leader threw her newborn twins to his dogs.
As the helpless babies were being torn apart, he raped their mother, who was still bleeding from childbirth.
Imagine the screams. Imagine the helplessness. Imagine a mother watching her babies d!e in the most horrifying way, unable to save them.
A kind of horror no human being should ever have to witness.
She couldn't bear it, she ran mad immediately.
Whenever I remember that woman, a cold shiver runs through my body.
Somewhere, a family is still living with the unbearable pain of what happened to their daughter and grandchildren.
No amount of tears can bring those babies back. No apology can erase that nightmare from the husband.
This happened late last year, under this administration. Yet, some people are already campaigning for the same APC to remain in power.
How does a government explain a country where innocent citizens can be kidnapped, brutalised, dehumanized and murdered?
Have we become so politically blinded that the suffering of our fellow citizens no longer moves us?
Don't you feel it when people are subjected to such horrors that should only happen in zombie movies?
Shouldn't their lives matter more than party loyalty?
How many more mothers must we watch suffer? How many more children must d!e before the government treats our security as the emergency it is?
Our lives don't matter to this government.
I feel like the people supporting this government are more evil and demonic than the government.

There is NO flyover that is more important than having enough ambulances and emergency healthcare services in your state. NONE!

My siblings and I are really, really good friends. We love each other so much, and I don’t take it for granted.
I know some of the credit goes to us, but I was curious about how much of it was intentional parenting. So I asked my mum if they were deliberate about anything 🧵

This is how victims of the Oluku explosion were transported to the hospital.
No ambulance.
No adequate emergency response.
No visible emergency medical infrastructure.
But somehow, 50,000 campaign buses are possible.
Tomorrow, you could be the next victim simply by going to the market to buy meat. In an emergency, shouting “God forbid” won’t replace an ambulance or a functioning healthcare system.
APC, SHAME ON YOU!

Personally, I appreciate the “see finish” phase of a relationship. When the novelty wears off and you begin to see each other as actual people, that’s when intentionality matters most. I love the idea of becoming familiar with someone without becoming careless with them.

I’m a mum whose son is very intelligent and gentle, and also has a diagnosis of schizophrenia.
The sheer cruelty in comments left on posts about this heartbreaking incident has reduced me and a whole community to tears. Shame on every single person who has left a vile comment about this awful incident. A young man has died. His family could read your words. Have some basic human decency.
Psychosis means a complete break from reality. Unless you’ve cared for someone through that crisis, you cannot
understand the trauma that comes with that..its horrific. Watching your child suffer, day after day, is beyond painful. Then having to witness society ridicule and dehumanise people with serious mental illness is sickening.
Schizophrenia can affect someone you love. Remember that before you leave your next cruel comment.

The death of William Chapman has brought into sharp focus the prejudice, hatred & lack of compassion that people living with mental illness continue to endure.

Dear @MDCNOfficial
I was told my physical file could not be found and this has been stalling my COGS application for about two months. I paid a visit to the headquarters in Abuja, a search for my file was made and I was told in substance that only prayers could locate my file

"When you are a young girl that is dating married men, you are committing a grievous sin against God".
See pastor Bolaji, see how simple it was to type, that's how direct the Bible is on the topic. It is not simply a bad decision with psychological effects, it is sin against the triune holy God.
Pastors need to get comfortable with calling sin what it is. God's commands are not simply suggestions that have utility. They are COMMANDS to be followed!
You can use the psychological effect of a sin as a way to buttress the point, but that should only be after you have called it out as sin---rebellion against God.
But then, God has to be a big deal in your church first for that kind of preaching to have any effect.
Sorrows sorrows.

Olalekan was my roommate in 200 level and one of the kindest humans you’ll ever come across. He is a smart lawyer that I’ve always known to be very passionate about his family.
Finding out about this private struggle has kept me quite disturbed since yesterday.
Mariam has been quite a fighter, but we need to raise about 15 million naira for Mariam’s surgery and subsequent chemo sessions. I really hope we can come through for my friend and his family as they can no longer delay the surgery.
We will sincerely appreciate every donation, retweet, share, and referral to people that can help us at time.
