Today the EP and the Council concluded the #GDPR rules harmonisation negotiations. The main objective of the new regulation is to strengthen GDPR #enforcement in cross border cases. I'm glad to see this (not an easy one) file finalised still with the PL Presidency #LIBE #EDPB
I welcome the provisional political agreement reached today between @Europarl_EN & @EUCouncil on new rules to boost the enforcement of the GDPR in cross-border cases.
Enforcing data protection rules effectively safeguards individuals & ensures fair competition for businesses.
