After a decade of heroic effort,@HHMIJanelia FlyLight and collaborators have released the best 3,063 split-GAL4 lines we identified through testing ~77,000 combinations. The release also includes a treasure trove of image data, including images of 129,665 individual fly brains!

Out of the shelter (again). I find it outstanding that @nature, @Nancy_Kanwisher and a long list of signators find @eLife's removal of Eisen disturbing. I am writing this because this saga should not end by him appearing as the victim.

Excited to share that @dudifly will launch the Deutsch lab this summer deutschlab.haifa.ac.il/. Dudi has done beautiful work on connectomics, persistent internal states, and sensorimotor transformations in the female fly brain and is a phenomenal mentor - apply for a postdoc!
