I voted NO on every JPS tax-rate cut since taking office. I am deeply concerned by the news of yet another death involving a person in the custody of the Tarrant County Jail, the seventh in 2026. I extend my condolences to his family, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. We must never allow these deaths to become routine.
