As much as you can:
Be good at something.
Be kind to people.
Speak up.
Give people reason to remember you when a question comes up that you could answer.
Connect people to others where both benefit from the connection.
Be helpful and honest in your critiques.
Be kind to people.
In 2017, I paid Cards Against Humanity to protect a pristine plot of border land from Trump’s racist wall. But then an even richer, more racist billionaire—Elon Musk—stole my land and dumped his shit all over it. @ElonMusk owes me $100. #ElonOwesMe100Bucks ElonOwesYou100Dollars.com
Congrats to all the fine folks that put on #BlenderConLA
I can only imagine how hard it is to put on a conference for the first time in LA, and I think they did a great job.
Met lots of lovely people - new enthusiasts to Oscar winners, and the venue worked well.

Been years since I’ve gotten to hang out with her and see her perform.

Glad I got to work with him.
Learned a lot.
Super sad we lost him too soon.
I’m grateful for the stories I have from my decades of glancing and direct interaction that have helped shape me to be a better designer & engineer.
If anyone would appreciate that, it would be Steve.
The best advice.
Note: I have not been the best exemplar here, but as I’ve gotten older, I believe I’ve gotten better. Hopefully when I interstected you I was on the better part of my curve…

My daughter (24 yr old CS/design grad) is doing a design research project and is looking to talk to people who actively use TikTok for 30 minute user interview. If you could fill out this form if you’re at all interested, that would be much appreciated!

Our exhibition 'The Rocketeer: The Life and Legacy of Dave Stevens' features rarely seen original work from the late creator's days in animation and storyboarding to the debut of his pulp-inspired comic book character, the Rocketeer, in the 1980s. cartoonart.org/the-rocketeer…
I’ll be there! Hope to see you there.

I donated to Kev, and I don’t even live there!
But I care about getting great passionate folks in office, and he fits the bill.
