So.... who's on #Mastodon? Should we start a list of #Drupal people over there? Free to drop your accounts in this thread so we can find each other when this titanic failure inevitably sinks.

Some folks have started a server at drupal.community/. They are following the current Drupal Code of Conduct and working with the Community Working Group. We have concerns, but will join there and see how it goes! #drupal #mastodon

There is so much that only real allies can do!
Replying to @Nico_Lang
I hope this is a reminder to straight, cis people that they have a lot of power in this fight as allies. Trans folks and LGBTQ+ people have been saying all this for years and people didn't listen. People listen when a straight, cis man says it. There's a responsibility there.

I find that to gain the respect of the tech bros you just to have to be one. The more you are like them the more they think you deserve to be in that space. I've found even at tech events, tech bros won't engage you about matters tech unless you look like a tech bro

Especially important for global communities like #Drupal.
Unpopular opinion: Hybrid conferences should be here to stay. This is an inclusivity and accessibility issue, particularly for attendees from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). 🧵1/11

Many people asked about the virtual attendance for #DrupalConEur. We heard you and just opened the possibility to watch live streams of all sessions and keynotes, plus connect with in-person attendees who downloaded the mobile app for a 60€ online ticket. kuonicongress.eventsair.com/…
