1. Let producers ship directly to retailers. 2. Let retailers sell online/deliver to residents. 3. Let producers establish a retail location on site, and also sell online through that location, to residents. 4. See a thriving, diverse cannabis economy in your province.

In 1990, the world watched Kanesatake fight for sovereignty against the Canadian military. Today, a new battle is unfolding in plain sight. With biker gangs exploiting legal grey zones, who is left to protect the community? Story by Kenneth Jackson. aptnnews.ca?p=296319

I’m not in the industry, but certainly am a consumer I think the reality is this isn’t the kind of stuff that politicians win votes for it’s not shiny other than the initial win, but they’re shortsightedness is stifling an industry that could contribute significantly to the GDP

Credit to @Conservative_BC for recognizing cannabis as an economic opportunity in their just released election platform. An approach that supports jobs, investment and a competitive legal market while protecting consumers deserves support across party lines.

1) A trade deficit is not a loss 2) The deficit with Canada was $27B last year, not the $90B he keeps using 3) The deficit with Canada exists because American companies buy a lot of cheap Canadian oil 4) Uh, what
Trump: I do not want to lose $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't have. They spend our money!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The statement in the video misstates the US-Canada trade deficit as a $90B loss subsidizing healthcare; the goods and services deficit was $27B in 2025 and stems mainly from US purchases of Canadian oil while Canada's system is funded by its own taxes. usafacts.org/articles/us-ca… canada.ca/en/health-cana… realeconomy.rsmus.com/market-minute-… ustr.gov/countries-regi…

A booming cannabis industry and a community under threat. Over 30 suspected arsons have plagued Kanehsatà:ke over the last few years, forcing dispensaries into 24-hour security. Watch what happened when the APTN Investigates team arrived on the ground.
