End of Men's Health Month. If you did one thing this month — scheduled a checkup, had a conversation, looked something up — that's a win. Men's health isn't a one-month thing. Keep paying attention. Your future self will thank you.

If you're a man over 45 and haven't had a colonoscopy — what are you waiting for? Colon cancer in young adults has doubled. Screening catches it early when it's most treatable. I know it's not glamorous. But neither is cancer.

I became a urologist because nobody else wanted to talk about this stuff. Bladder problems. Prostate issues. Sexual dysfunction. Fertility struggles. Patients come in embarrassed. They leave relieved that someone finally listened. That's the job. And I love it.

Mark Cuban said "It's not about money or connections — it's the willingness to outwork and outlearn everyone." Same with your health. Nobody else is going to do the work for you. Learn your numbers. Know your risks. Show up for yourself.

Sepsis is one of those things nobody thinks about until it happens to them. 1.7 million cases a year in the US. A UTI or kidney stone can trigger it. If you have an infection and things are getting worse fast — don't wait. Go to the ER.

Everyone wants to talk about testosterone. Nobody wants to talk about sleep. 7-8 hours of quality sleep does more for your T levels, your mood, and your performance than most things you can buy in a bottle.

AI is now being used to predict kidney stone recurrence based on your labs and imaging. Would you want your doctor using AI to decide your treatment plan? Or just as a second opinion? This is the future of my field. I want to hear your take.

Men have a pelvic floor. Surprised? Most guys are. And when it's weak, you get leaks, pain, and problems in the bedroom. Pelvic floor exercises aren't just for women. Time to start paying attention.

Elon Musk said "When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor." Getting screened. Having hard conversations with your doctor. Showing up for your health. It's not comfortable. But it's important enough.

Can biking kill your sex life? As a urologist AND a cyclist — I get this question constantly. The answer is nuanced. The right seat, the right fit, and knowing your limits matter. Here's my honest take.

Would you trust an AI chatbot to answer your health questions before seeing a doctor? Millions already do. The question is — should they? As a doctor, I think AI can inform. But it can't examine you, read your body language, or ask the right follow-up. Where do you draw the line?
