Happy 79th Birthday to the United States Air Force! Our story began as Pinecastle Army Airfield before becoming McCoy Air Force Base, named in honor of Colonel Michael McCoy. Today, we celebrate the rich military history and aviation heritage that helped shape MCO. ✈️

Making dreams come true, one flight at a time. ✈️✨ We were happy to welcome @AmericanAir and @MakeAWish as they brought more than a dozen families to Walt Disney World Resort through Wish Flight, a journey that creates special memories for children facing critical illnesses.

From an airport welcome to a water cannon salute, the magic began the moment they arrived. This year marks the fourth annual Wish Flight with American Airlines donating the roundtrip charter flight to Orlando and providing a volunteer crew to help make this experience possible.

Twenty five years ago, our nation was forever changed. In remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, a moment of silence was held at our airport at 8:46 am. We will never forget those we lost, the heroes, those who carry on, and the sacrifices made by many.
